Classixx kind of sucked at Coachella, sadly. Same with Rudimental. Hopefully both put on better performances this weekend.

I echo those folks, plus adding that Tycho, Tourist and Banks will all kick ass. Definitely Gesaffelstein and the don Boys Noize though.

Last year they had a Nacho Picasso set and a few DJ sets at the Red Bull Seattle set-up Where the hell was it? I tried every single night to look for, or at least hear, where the party truck was. I couldn't find it on any night, nor did anybody that I talked to.

I loved them at Voodoo last year.

I thought they killed it at Outside Lands. I figure I'll be happy hearing 1/3 or 1/2 of 'kast's set and then move on over.

I've been curious about Rudimental. I had planned on splitting them and Outkast. Worth it or no? I have a theory that they'll be playing a DJ set instead of their live show. Theory's based on the fact that the past three years there's been a DJ set going on inside of the tent during the top-billed act of the festival: 2011: Foo Fighters - DJ Anjali 2012: Bon Iver - James Murphy 2013: Mumford - Azari & III (Who are usually a full live band) Also, Rudimental plays DJ sets all over the world at several festivals, so I wouldn't put it past them. Plus, on a lot of bills I've seen they are listed as Rudimental LIVE for their live show. I'm over-thinking this, I know. But just divulging because I can't stand the excitement..

Jack White and Beck were both billed higher than Bon Iver in 2012. So maybe you're not over-thinking this.

As long as we're over-thinking it, it would stand to reason that they have someone playing live instruments in the tent while Outkast plays since a hip-hop show is essentially a dj set with live MCs.

So will anyone be playing musical instruments after 11 pm on Friday? I have been listening to some Die Antwood which is pretty good, but hard to tell if they are a band or something else. Maybe I go meteor watching Friday night...

Maybe I go meteor watching Friday night... In theory, Rudimental should be. Making electronic sounding music with live investments on kind of their thing.

Body shots. With some hay from that old mans farm that people like to try and wonder over to. While he sits with his grimaced face questioning at the joyous wonder taking place in front of him. Once again, year after year, till he hits the grave.

Is there a particular band that everyone will be convening at this year for a board meet up? I wouldn't mind meeting you guys this time around and sharing in a beverage or three.

After seeing Rudimental, Classixx, and Outkast at Coachella I would like to say I respectfully disagree with Mr. Pea-body. I thought Classixx was good, not great, but I would not say they sucked in the least. And Rudimental I thought was fantastic. Their act was most certainly live, with percussionists, piano, synth, trumpet, and a few other instruments. Not to mention the beautiful vocals of Anne Marie - www.youtube.com/watch?v=P57tZ7ZHkc4Outkast I saw on the first weekend of Coachella and they were sorta meh. I heard they were much better second weekend. But I will definitely be seeing Rudimental over them. My 2 cents. In any event, so utterly excited for this weekend. See you all there.

Hmm, I don't think there is any particular artist we were all planning on meeting up at but I can fucking guarantee that you will be able to find a sizeable portion of us at Gesaffelstein.

I can't even guarantee I'll be on the same planet as you guys much less a set. Follow the simple rule to find a boarder. Front and left of the soundstage.
