I also think a big part of my lack of excitement regarding Tyler is how much Earl sucked last year. Damn man, I loved Earl last year! I don't know what to expect since a lot of Tyler's music is super meh, but it will probably be fun. It's definitely legendary hip-hop-squatch this year though. I like it.

Man, I'll still defend Man on the Moon but everything Cudi has done since is complete garbage. His new "album" is the worst thing I've heard this year by a pretty wide margin.

I've already seen Tyler three times and it was nothing special. I like his studio albums but he just isn't that great live. Most likely will be skipping his set.

I've been trying to get into Cudi lately but I just can't. His music is really uninteresting to me.
Speaking of which, I have a confession. The National bores me. I've tried listening to their records several times but they have just never clicked with me. What is it that I'm missing here? I think they're a good band and all, but there's something that just doesn't hit me when I listen to them.

I youtubed some of his live performances and they didn't seem too bad. It made me more interested in checking out his set. Agree. Lucky the dance tent is going to be rocking when their on stage.

I think you'll find yourself in a silent majority Geno in regards to National.

I'm not familiar with Larynx. One of my old-school faves. Lateef & Lyrics Born (who is SO much fun live). This song was my everything for a while.

I think you'll find yourself in a silent majority Geno in regards to National. Why is the majority so silent? Board suicide? I dunno. I've never been able to sit through an entire National album but I do enjoy a handful of their songles quite a bit.

I'm trying right now, but I have to work late, and I need the opposite of what the National are offering. I think the National are putting my internet connection to sleep, because all of a sudden shit's not streaming right.

Can somebody make any suggestions for the National? Lately when I'm listening to new artists I just go to their Spotify page and play from the top down, which starts with top hits, which is often the newest hits, and then it goes from newest to oldest in order, unless some reissues are in the mix. That is not the best way to be introduced to a band. I hope these suggestions don't make me miss Boys Noize. I doubt it will.
