Him and his wife were there with our group for the Femmes! It was good to meet you (briefly) dude. I was kind of a whirling dervish shit-show during that set, would have liked to talk more!

I am in that picture but I seriously do not remember any inflatables for the Femmes. God damnit. You were there for most of the set dude, but then you kissed off into the air right before the group photo.

I know this might seem hostile. But I would forgive Zacks for everything if they never, ever, ever, book anything like SGL again.
I tried once a day to get into what they were doing. Each time I hated it even worse.

Goldbeard and his goddamn cantaloupes. Haha that was Marissa's cantaloupe. Before it got torn into by everyone she accidentally let it roll most of the way down the entire hill. Too fucking funny.

When Marissa went to buy ice with me she bought the cantaloupe and decided we should eat it inside the festival. She left it at the comedy-dance tent so I brought it with me to a few sets before Marissa found it again. After which I tore into it like the barbarian I am.

Violent Femmes (Nice to meet some of you during this set!) The worst thing I saw all weekend was anything associated with Super Geek League. What the fuck was that and who thought it was a good idea to give them their own stage? Fucking waste of space and money. Where were you for the Femmes? We were exactly where I said we would be and it couldn't have been more obvious. Also I didn't mind the SGL stuff. I wandered by once or twice when I was bored and it was fairly entertaining for the 5 minutes I needed to kill. They never interfered with any of the set I watched at the Bigfoot, but I was usually to the left of the soundstage. We arrived just as the Femmes started and I only recognized HG and Stormy, who briefly introduced me to Weenie. It was pretty frantic during that set and we bolted immediately after to catch Deafheaven.

Fair enough. I just wanted to pop someones boardie cherry this weekend dammit! I am was indeed a sasquatch virgin, but no more, and I don't exactly have a cherry to pop, but you did refill my water bottle after Violent Femmes. I'm a little hard of hearing, especially in a crowd, so I mostly smile and nod and bounce around a little bit, so you might have forgotten introducing yourself to me.

Fair enough. I just wanted to pop someones boardie cherry this weekend dammit! Not sure what that would've entailed, but I do believe that my cherry is still intact.

I gave you a hug after the group photo. Then I looked around and realized that there were 4 Daves from the internet standing in a row and probably started to laugh, likely confusing everyone around me.

Holy shit was that Deafheaven set mind blowing or what? It took me awhile to recover from experiencing that and Panda Bear directly afterwards. Deafheaven was pretty lame. The lead singer and drummer were okay, but the rest of the band was straight up Jimmy Buffett.

I was on the hill at first, but had to move up because I couldn't hear anything except for the booming vocals. Still couldn't hear much as I got closer. And did anyone notice that none of the headliners played an encore? That's not usually the case, is it? I got set lists from both The National and QOSTA and the both skipped songs that were supposed to be played. Not to mention that Queens left the stage 20 minutes early and still left a song or two off, one of which was Faireweather Friends dammit. But my God, they were amazing! I haven't seen Fairweather Friends live in the four times I've seen them since the new album was released. The internet will probably prove me wrong, but it might be a song they don't play live.

It would be hard to pull off live, given the lack of Trent and Sir Elton in the touring band.

Yeah I appreciate what they were trying to do with SGL but them playing at the same time as some of the Bigfoot sets really pissed me off and the red Satanic minotaur guy growling at me while I was staring off into space saucer-eyed was just about the last thing that I ever needed to have happen to me at the time. They didn't play at the same time.

I am 100% that they were playing a set over the end of a Bigfoot set.

I've found it live on YouTube, not great, but it is on there. I always find it strange when bands put songs on setlists and then don't play them, especially when they cut the set short 20 minutes early. They were still fucking great though. Their set was pretty much flawless.
