John Grant was moved to MaySquatch...not that anyone cares that much I saw that and almost posted about it, but I leaned more in the "nobody cares that much" direction.

Broken Bells' music is about .005% as interesting as the Shins' music, and the Shins had one of the most dreadfully boring Sasquatch sets I have ever seen. So, like, you do that math.

Yeah, last night I was actually trying to convince my wife that The Shins (on recording) are much more energetic and interesting. We saw them a while back at The Paramount (I think when Wincing The Night Away came out). She fell asleep at that show. She thought they were so boring that we didn't bother seeing them at Sasquatch.
She is a fan of Broken Bells, though. I am guessing I will end up seeing at least a portion of their set. I bet she wants to bail after a couple of songs.

I've told this story a million times before, but I saw the Shins on Halloween a couple of weeks before Chutes Too Narrow came out and it was fucking excellent. They were having SO much fun, and so was everyone else. I don't know what fucking happened to them.

I have been listening to the most recent Broken Bells album a lot over the past few days. It is a weird band for me though. I was severely unimpressed by their debut album. My wife loves it though so I am guessing that I will be catching them at Sasquatch. The new one has a vibe that speaks to me. However, even though I like it I am not sure that I would put them over anybody else in a conflict situation. How good could they be live? Has anybody on here seen them live? Just by videos I have seen they don't look fantastic. Needless to say I'll be catching them at Sasquatch also.

Awful audio quality, but it would be so sick if Audion brought his new set up to Julysquatch

KONGOS has been added to the July lineup. I quite dig them...But then again, they had me at the accordion intro.

Has anyone seen The Notwist play live fairly recently? Their first couple albums are my favorites, and their newer stuff is so drastically different, I wonder if they still play any of the older songs live.

OH MY GOD YESSSSS
Next to A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul is probably my favorite hip hop group from the 90's. This is awesome.

I just can't bring myself to get excited about Tyler unfortunately. And while I am excited about Cudi (in spite of hearing that he is pretty lackluster live), I wasn't about to lump him in with that group.

I also think a big part of my lack of excitement regarding Tyler is how much Earl sucked last year.
