QOTSA sounds like a lawnmower? Does not compute. Dude's voice is all kinds of sexy smooth. QotSA's sound is like a perfect combination of sexy smooth and crunchy raw. I don't understand how you could compare them to a lawnmower unless your lawnmower blasts Prince each time you use it or something. My lawnmower plays David Bowie.

Fact: I only listen to Led Zeppelin I when I am mowing the lawn.
Fact: I watched Gesaffelstein's Boiler Room set with Drylon last night.
Fact: This jam is sick.

Another taste of GesaffelsteinThe visual side of his show is really impressive as well. He controls all elements of the performance on-stage (lights and sound). My god I cannot wait! I wonder how extensive of a visual set up he will have.

The two aren't really comparable. There's a pretty severe lack of dynamic in the music of both. For me, it's like listening to a lawnmower. But there's such great variability in the sounds of the great Lawnmower! Two stroke single cylinder, 2, 3 cylinder. Variable V-twins with exhaust dampers or even no mufflers! The chunes are that of a lawn and garden orchestra!

I finally found a couple bootlegs of PeeBs' live sets from last year. One is from June and one is from November. It looks like he is going to be playing 100% new material. Anyone who is interested in hearing the new jamz shoot me your email in a PM.

They remind me of what I liked about The Dead Milkmen. They've been on my list from the beginning. They should be a great way to close out the Yeti stage.
