Haha, don't listen to me at all! Start with Drums Not Dead because it's the best mix of accessibility and quality. If you're really dedicated I guess you can start from their first album and work through all of them. They sound nothing like their first album anymore but it's a stupidly good album and they have had one of the most interesting career paths of the last decade.
I think I'm going to do Sisterworld. That one was underrated.
I almost started with that one, but it sounds like I might have made the right choice. I'm definitely going to be listening to them a lot in the coming months, but now I've started listening to Kraftwerk and fear I will be listening to nothing else for quite some time.
Liars! Wonk, you didn't like their live show? I loved the only set I have seen from them. It wasn't even the full band. Dude hurt his hand in Portland and had to have the guitarist from Fol Chen fill in. I danced like a mad man around a campfire in the great prairies throughout. Great times, great show. I think it was right after Sisterworld came out. That album rules. I have never actually heard their earliest material. Everything I have heard is right up my alley though. Drum is insane. First exposure to them for me.
