Even though it isnt from 2014, I love both of Jake Bugg's albums.
Also, Sun Kil Moon - Benji.

First album I've liked so far this year:

Adding:
Angel Olsen - Burn Your Fire for No Witness, even though it's remarkably disjointed at times. St. Vincent - St. Vincent, even though I've only listened to it once through I'm still preeeetty confident about this ending up there this year.

I'm actually kind of bummed about the St. Vincent album. I love Prince Johnny and Rattlesnake, but overall it's a letdown.

I agree with Jeff (of the rushes) but I was too scared to be the first to say it.

I turned off St. Vincent after the first song because I was 9 cups of coffee deep and it wasn't rustlin' ma jeffies enough.

That was the most generic-sounding St. Vincent album that could possibly exist. And was it not, like, 25 minutes long? It's like the St. Vincent equivalent of Weezer's green album.

Eh, I guess it was forty minutes long. I guess I just stopped paying attention to it for half of its running time. OOPS.

Please add:
Helms Alee - Sleepwalking Sailors ("Heavy Worm Burden" is the best song I've heard all year. Can't wait to see this live sometime) Deadkill - No, Never! (I feel like I'm copying Bad Choices picks, but man that guy has great taste. Ever since introducing me to Good to Die Records, through this board, I haven't found one band on there that hasn't struck a chord with me. Thanks!!) Beck - Morning Phase Sun Kil Moon - Benji

If there's anything worse than that St. Vincent album, it's that Beck album. Ugh.
Beck - 2/5 stars St. Vincent - 3.5/5 stars Cibo Matto - 4.75/5 stars

Please add
Sun Kil Moon - Benji Cibo Matto - Hotel Valentine
Benji is so totally not the kind if music I usually listen enjoy, but it has wormed its way into my brain and I can't stop listening to it. Hotel Valentine, on the other hand, took me about halfway through the first song to fall completely in love with it.
