Just like it says folks, which tunes rustled yer jimmies this year?
I'm just going to start off with this one, 'cause making an actual list is going to take me until New Year's.

These lists are counterproductive for my procrastination problem.

I've had this track on repeat pretty regularly since it was released. It was so late in the year though so I'm not sure it is my number one.

The Knife's "Full of Fire" is the best song of 2013 and that is an objective statement.

2013. Never forget.
Sure, it technically came out in 2012, but 2013 is the year it will be remembered by.

Can you guess what my favorite album of the year was?

Okay okay, last one, promise. But SERIOUSLY- check out this fucking incredible recording/perfomance space. I want to go there.

This thread should be "Best Songs of 2013 that aren't Get Lucky". Because let's get real, that's the only acceptable answer.
Anyway, my vote for "Best Song of 2013 that isn't Get Lucky":

I agree that "Fuckin Problems" is amazing. Instant party starter.
"Line of Fire" is probably the song I listened to the most this year without hearing anything else on the album. I think it's so special to me because I mostly associate it with the build up to the finale of Breaking Bad, but it still gives me chills every time. I really like José González, I'm just nervous that listening to anything else off of Junip will spoil this song for me.

Also hadn't heard "Line of Fire" before and I really like it, so thanks! In fact, I have never listened to Junip. Now I will. This thread is awesome.

I didn't spend nearly enough time with the newest Junip record but I loved their first one. It definitely won't spoil the song for you, they're pretty great.

"F*cking Problems" is the shit. Love that song.
I think my favorite of the year is "Slimed" by Tera Melos.

We still got to hear them close with "Line of Fire." It was the only song that stood out on Junip's new album, and the only song I wanted to see, so maybe you shouldn't bother. I've listened to it more than any other song this year. Switch and his hot wife can confirm that when we got back to the hotel that night, I played the song over and over on my phone, barely remembering any of it. EDIT: I've never watched Breaking Bad.

You should probably do something about that.
