Didn't Macklemore's album come out in 2012? I don't know how the Grammys work.
Also, whoever produced Lorde's album should get most of the credit. The lyrics and singing are nothing all that great (she's 16, so she'll probably get better) but the production is what makes it stand out.

Since the Grammy's decided to be "hip" a couple years back the nominations have become a lot more fun. They're still completely lacking in artistic integrity but it's funny seeing people like James Blake, Neko Case, Disclosure, and one of the kids from The Wire ( ) get nominated. I don't know where all of this love for Sara Bareilles came from though...

Wow, Macklemore swept the rap categories: album, song, and performance. 3/3, and he's still up for 3 of the big 4 that will be announced on air later. Like him or not, that's pretty cool for independent music.

There's no such thing as independent music on the Grammys as the entire damn thing is a record industry masturbatory event.

I'm sure the LGBT SJW's are while the race ones are probably going to complain about white folks coopting black music.

Paul getting lucky to the robots Paul was great, but this was the winner for me: I'll give everyone a minute to cope.

I don't consider myself either but I still thought Kendrick's album was better.

This has been the highlight of the evening for me: The performance was pretty good (seriously, how can I possibly still be attracted to Pharrell while he's wearing a fucking Smokey The Bear hat?!) but I had to close my eyes it was so fucking cringey every time they threw to the crowd. Although this T-Swift gif reminds me of this girl and so now I'm giggling all over the place.

I can never make fun of anyone else's dancing after my friends took a video of me at Radiohead at Bonnaroo which mostly consisted of me in underwear, body paint, and rubbing my nipples.

(seriously, how can I possibly still be attracted to Pharrell while he's wearing a fucking Smokey The Bear hat?!) How can you not? That man is so goddamn stylish. If we're talking about highlights, that hat was it for me.
