And this, my friends, is why NIN was the best show of the year... I'm so glad people who hate NIN missed this, and Gramma/Stormy took our advice and got to see it.

And this, my friends, is why NIN was the best show of the year... That entire show made me feel like I was in a music video.

I was supposed to see NIN in Montreal. The day I came down with ear infections. In both ears.
Clearly I was an axe murderering puppy rapist in a past life.

And this, my friends, is why NIN was the best show of the year... That's great! Where's it from? I saw NIN two weeks ago and the show I saw was nothing at all like that.

I heard something about them not being able to use the 2 semi translucent screens in Calgary. Something to do with weight restrictions or something.

5. Grinderman @ Coachella 5. Grinderman @ Coachella That will at least go down as one of the most memorable shows of my existence. Grinderman @ Coachella (90% because of watching Drew geek the F out) QFT a million times. This is about 25% of the people that were at that show. Go to about 3:30 in this one and watch for a bit and you'll see exactly when I geeked out. Unfortunately I was laying on the ground tripping my balls off during this song, but Nater and Pea watched as Nick Cave becomes a nightmare incarnate for that poor woman on that dude's shoulders in this video. My list begins with Grinderman at Coachella, followed closely by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds at Coachella, then... Macca at Outside Lands NIN at Outside Lands St. Vincent solo at the Fox in Oakland Jeff Mangum at the Fox in Oakland St. Vincent and David Byrne at the Fox in Oakland Animal Collective at the Fox in Oakland, a bunch of other shit I can't remember right now.

That Yo La Tengo concert was better than you acted I had too many bands on the list and had to do some moving around. They originally were on the top 20 but I had to factor in seeing bands multiple times and the excitement of seeing a band for the first time to cut down on numbers.

The Men were at Bumbershoot again? OOPS I had never even listened to them before. All my friends went to Tegan and Sara or something so I stood in the beer garden sippin' IPA and watching them shred ultimate.
