I see where Nick is coming from, but skipping one of the best live bands out there for a smaller bigfoot set would be a huge mistake in my personal opinion. Regardless if you like NIN or not, their shows are seriously killer.
That's fair. Bottom line is, I just can't justify seeing a band for their live performance alone. I listen to music, for, well, the music, and I don't like NIN's music. I've listened to a lot of it. Not a fan at all. So if there's a band I actually enjoy playing on another stage at the same time, that's where I'll be.
For the slow-minded superfans: I am not insulting NIN. They're probably great. I, personally, don't like them. This is not a dig at your musical taste or the band's artistic merit. It is a statement of preference. It will not change no matter how much you bitch. That is all.
I am babby, immature, self-entitled, closeminded 12 year-old, however I fully agree with you.
I heavily research before every fest I go to and in previous years NIN has lost out during the principle research period and I have seen someone else... I'm pretty sure that if they are scheduled in 2014 I will feel the same way as I have in years past. That is the beauty of multi stage festivals is that you don't have to be forced to watch bands that you don't particularly like.
Wonk really needs to work on his trolling, what is the point of trawlling if the only one getting the "lelz" is the troll. People are trying to have a civil conversation of what-if's and personal opinions and he comes in sounding like a neckbeared butthurt basement dweller. It's okay if you need attention dude, I'm sure someone will give you that hug that you need.

If by effective, you mean rushing into a room yelling at the top of his lungs "you are dumb, you are babby, your opnions don't matter" shitting himself and then leaving as everyone looks around and goes, wtf was that. Then yeah, we got pwnd, hard.
