I would love to be able to go to both. But if I can't, it makes the presale that much trickier. My hope is that presale tickets will have a flex option, i.e. good or either weekend and you have to commit to one or the other after the lineup announcement but before general sale starts. Otherwise, I don't know how anyone could buy presale for one weekend over the other. Also hoping for package discount for buying both weekends so I don't have to choose.

I probably will only be able to pull off the second Sasquatch this year. Hopefully they are just as good.

At least Accelerated Cheese made an argument, which I couldn't completely disagree with. You just made a stupid fucking comment that was pointless. Now you blow up like a fucking idiot and start name calling. I suppose I might have came off a little harsh, but If you don't want to make an intelligent argument then fuck off dude. Bash away I hope it makes you feel better about your life, and your broken bike. From what I can see, the 'stupid fucking comment' that Nick made with which you disagree was that there just might be a better band that Nine Inch Nails? This is one of the most absurd board blow-ups since I don't know when. Like, what the fuck is even going on?? Is this like when Burrito and Fig were howling at each other as a spoof because they actually love each other, or is cysquatch actually that ready to go to war over Trent Reznor? Personally: I've seen Nine Inch Nails, and a top-notch Bigfoot headliner would probably entice me away from a second opportunity to see them again. Additionally: Chill the fuck out. You're acting like a NIN fan from 1997.

I'd skip Chuck if Mammal Battles were headlining the Bigfoot.
...AND ONLY IF!

That is a stupid fucking statement, "Burrito". I will mammal battle YOU if you ever even fucking suggest that there is a better flugelhorn player in the entire fucking universe than "Go-Man"-gione.

Mammal Battles' flugelhorn player is a hack, and you fucking know it.

The beauty of choosing Mammal Battles is that you'd still hear that sweet, sweet flugel rollin' o'er them hills.
Ya pompous jackass.

Mammal Battles aside: cysquatch, I can see that you are offended. It happens to the best of us. You're an important part of this community. Please don't delete your account, like people do sometimes when someone else talks shit about NIN.
If only for your own sake. Nobody wants to become a meme, like Alex did.

I've thought about this long and hard today, and probably not even for Primus. Additionally: Chill the fuck out. You're acting like a NIN fan from 1997. By 97 I had already moved on to Pink Floyd and the Dead. If this was 96 however, I would have already stabbed somebody, and probably cut myself too. Exaggerating on that last part, and maybe the other part too.

I like the idea of one weekend being normal squatch and the other being top 40 squatch
or
Normal Squatch and Heavy Squatch
or
Indie Squatch and Alterna-old Squatch
What would bum me out is if they did two weekends that were a bit of everything just different bits of everything each weekend, which would dilute the whole thing too much for my liking.

I have so much anxiety about the two weekends. I know that if I just go to one Tool and Queens of The Stone Age will be playing at the other. If I go to both of them I don’t think I will be able to do what I was planning for that summer. I was planning on saving money to go to the World Cup in Brazil. My birthday is on July 4th and I couldn’t think of anywhere I would rather celebrate my 30th than at Sasquatch. Money and vacation time are going to be spread thin. Choices choices choices.

Tool is definitely going to at Julysquatch. QOTSA will probably play Regularsquatch. I have no evidence to back up that claim, but I am sure it is a fact.

It seems like Neutral Milk will probably be at julysquatch as well, but are not big ticket sellers, they are spank material for us indie nerds.

They are playing Primavera Sound the weekend after. I think it would make sense that they play MaySquatch. I keep expecting them to announce more dates in their crazy touring schedule that will include the PNW, but I guess they are probably just holding out because of Spring festival dates.

I've said it before and I think it bears repeating: EVERYONE I knew in high school and a few years after were obsessed with Neutral Milk Hotel. I could totally see them headlining Sasquatch in the same way that the Postal Service did. Now that I think about it, their situations seem pretty similar in my head. A very popular indie-ish band from a little over 10 years ago that not enough people actually got to see live the first time around.
