At this point, it's pretty much an accepted fact that there will be at least one hip-hop headliner. Based on what?

At this point I wouldn't be surprised if Macklmore and Ryan Lewis headlined again.

At this point, it's pretty much an accepted fact that there will be at least one hip-hop headliner. My question is this: what if it's Eminem? What happens then? No it's not at all, what are you talking about? The two hip hop headliners we've had that I can remember are Macklemore and Beastie Boys...both of which get a ton of playtime on alternative stations. There literally are no others that fit that bill.

That's what I imagine will happen as well. It was great seeing them at WTF, but J Phlip only played for 45 minutes and that's just not enough gettin' down for my tastes. I figure they'll each play for at least 90 minutes, possibly more for Claude. In any case, I bought my ticket long ago, and I've got a huge group of friends going to a show for once. Everything's coming up milhouse!

I have no idea how the Santa Clause works - especially with the added weekend in July - but for what it's worth, Pixies just announced shows in Vancouver, Seattle, and Portland in February.
And for you Coachella theorists, they have no upcoming dates in southern California with scheduled dates ending March 1.
EDIT: Nadine beat me to it in the Upcoming Shows thread.

Broken Bells announced that they are releasing new music in January. Seems like they could be at one or the other depending on tour schedules.

I'm glad beartap changed his avatar. The badass care-bear is much less unsettling.

NIN and QOTSA are going to be touring after the Tension tour. That would just be awesome if that rolled back around to Sasquatch.

Queens hasn't been back since '06 and NIN will always be amazing live. I am in full support of this happening.

Well if you're going to dilute the fuck out of your potential festival lineup by spreading it across two separate weekends, expect some awful shit to fill the holes. I have a feeling that quality-wise, these two weekends are going to host two of the worst lineups we've ever seen from Sasquatch. It's just bound to happen when you go from needing 100(ish) bands to 200+.

I dig their new track: https%3A//soundcloud.com/subpop/mogwai-remurderedI hope travel issues don't prevent them from playing again! Although I did enjoy the Deer Tick covers set..
