To be fair I have spent a significantly larger amount of time with Floor Tim than yourself, so maybe it is I who aught to hang out with you more.
He'll probably be in Portland when we get those burritos, at which point we can get all Toolisophical and shit.

Fuckyouguysidloveitsquatch You mad bro? I'm as mad as can be that people would regulate Nine Inch Nails and Tool to bro level music. Why not just stop listening to music all together. I'm pretty sure that there's at minimum one immense fuckstick that likes every band ever.

But I think that says a lot about a band's quality when they can appeal to both the douchebros and music elitists.

A large majority of the douchier crowd are 13 year old pissed off teenagers though, so hopefully that would help keep down the douchier crowd.

They are 2 of the greatest bands of my generation. If anybody wants to judge then let them. I personally always keep an open mind and do not judge.

Last time Tool played at the Key Arena they sold out of beer before the show even started (either people drank THAT much or they just planned poorly). I didn't get much of a d-bag vibe (at least what I could tell) and everyone was pretty tossed. I guess everyone was there for the same reason. That is the only time I have seen them live though so I don't know. Might be different blending crowds.

I've seen Tool upwards of 10 times, and NIN about 6 or 7. Neither of them draw what I would call a vast majority of douchebros, or whatever. Whoever compared them to Nickelback fans earlier can eat a bag of dicks. I mean that in the most loving way.

That might have been my post, I felt offended that anyone would call NIN or Tool douche bro level.

Snacks just favorited a tweet of mine which read "Dear Santa Snacks, bought my MaySquatch tickets for the family. All I want for Christmas is Television to play & maybe Kadavar too". Prediction? Maybe, maybe not. But I like the hope he has given me. Especially since the last tweet of mine he favorited was back in June when I asked if there would be a discounted package deal for both Sasquatch Festivals. Just wanted to throw this out there again. I know most folks don't like to read too much into twitter "likes", but in light of the recent Primavera line-up announcement I remain optimistic. If Maysquatch lands Television, Kadavar and Deafheaven I will be the happiest man alive!

C'mon fox, there's probably a chance for NIN or Tool to be there (says the girl that has NIN as a headliner guess). But I highly doubt that both would be there on the same lineup. Their fanbases are too similar and typically organizers want just enough diversity in the headliners to capture more of the market but not too much so as to confuse festival goers over the "vibe" of the fest.

^This.
One or the other could totally happen. Both? Nah.
I'm also sorry I caused such a fuss with my assumption that Tool and NIN would draw a shitty crowd. I'm sure most of their fans are fine, but I retain my belief that if they are both at the same one (spoiler: it won't happen) that the crowd would be vastly different from the usual Sasquatch crowd. I'd be cool with it since I like both bands, but I still think a lot of regulars would not be pleased with the crowd it draws.

I still think a lot of regulars would not be pleased with the crowd it draws. Likewise, the NIN-Tool crowd would be none too pleased with the Sasquatch regulars. It would be a recipe for disaster. One or the other is practically a given, but both could never happen (no matter how many virgin souls I offer in sacrifice).
