Prince has a new album coming out in the not so distant future and is expected to tour again next year. My first thought on him was "too big for Sasquatch", then I remembered that last time he came around he played the Showbox rather than an arena. I know he's a long, long shot, but do you know how many children I would be willing to murder to see his royal purpleness headline the Gorge?

The correct answer is seven: five handicapped ones and two regular ones.

That would be amazing. He played a 1500 person venue here when he came through last.

but i don't want 600 dollar for 3 day sasquatch tickets. Doesn't Prince charge cocaine prices for tickets/appearances?

Prince would be amazing and would absolutely headline the whole weekend. He played small venues last time through but that's because he charged 250 bucks for tickets.

I bet you'd look good in a 2013 Baby Eating Ice Cream Coup. With the name beartrap, I think it would only be fitting that it was a care bear.

Cut Copy just announced a world tour and they skip Seattle

Having Cut Copy on the lineup would make me a very happy Sasquatch-er.
Similarly, I noticed that Jay-Z skipped the NW entirely on both his recently announced solo tour AND his tour with Justin Timberlake this summer. Ok, he and JT played Vancouver, B.C. but nothing in Seattle or Portland on either tour.
Now, it would stand to reason that Jay-Z is too big (expensive) to be a Sasquatch headliner, but maybe that's changing with the expansion to two weekends?

Alright, it's about time to get this conversation started again. I'm thinking that the move to two three-day festivals will allow for Zacks to book bigger headliners than we've seen at Sasquatch in the past. So, these seem like attainable headliners/subheadliners that could show up in some combination or another between the May and July festivals.
HEADLINERS: Arcade Fire, Atoms for Peace (Thom Yorke at the Gorge!), Nine Inch Nails, Pearl Jam, Florence + The Machine, [INSERT POPULAR EDM ACT HERE], Maybe Kanye West or Drake since the hip-hop headliner clearly contributed to the fast sell-out last year?
SUBS: Neutral Milk Hotel, My Bloody Valentine, The National, Foster the People, The Knife, Frank Ocean, TV on the Radio, Queens of the Stone Age
That being said, I feel like we have less to go off than the previous few years because no ones knows how they'll handle the two-weekend expansion. This really amounts to little more than rampant speculation at this point, but what else do I have to tide me over until May?
