Girl Talk had a few fireworks in 2012. It can definitely be done, so I can't see why they wouldn't.

Snacks fav'd this tweet:
"will I be able to buy tickets for both festivals on Black Friday? Or either? Fav for yes you're secret is safe w me"
Don't know if this is one of you guys but it confirms that early bird for both weekends will be available at the same time.

Even if his favorite of the tweet meant anything, I don't think it confirms what you think it confirms...

I am confused. What do you interpret it as meaning?

Snacks favorites a LOT of Sasquatch related tweets, so asking him to favorite if something is true probably doesn't mean anything. That's just my thoughts.

It would be more meaningful if if didn't say "or either?"

There were fireworks all night long at the Phish show. But Phish has its own rules so who knows.

I would guess that they would be exactly the same as this year. I mean they sold out in 90 minutes and plently of people bought scalped tickets for $450 plus. I don't think they would have any problem selling tickets at $350 again. You guys are insane if you think tickets will be around $350 again. Presale was $300 last year. If presale is over $250 I'll be pissed. Coachella is $350 for the same amount of days. As much as I love Sasquatch, it is not Coachella. Not even close. They would need to put together two amazing lineups to think that they could get away with charging Coachella prices. I can definately see them doing something like $350 for 1 festival / $600-650 for both festivals (regular sale). Maybe a bit cheaper if you are purchasing pre-sale (before the line-ups come out) Only here to sayy toldya so, but not that happy about it cause it means we all lose.

I didn't expect there to be such a discount for buying both weekends, but it is a pretty good strategy. They seem to be trying to make it so that people are forced to buy both weekends, but I don't know how well that is going to work out. That being said, I'm still pretty surprised by the prices they are charging, and unless they pull a massive headliner like they did last year, I don't expect either to sell out that fast, if at all.

I was pretty sure I sensed some sarcasm, but I couldn't take that chance.

Little bit behind the jive on this thread... But this makes sense. Sasquatch has been slowly expanding like Zacks says he's always trying to do. And shaving a day off makes sense also, in essence Sasquatch just added 2 days and increased its target date range with artists. Hell, if the dual weekend is successful I would bet they add the day back on in a year or two, once Sasquatch fills out this expansion. Ending the festival on Sunday will make it easier for people who work to attend also.
So I think the whole thing sorta just seems like the next logical step. And yeah, hopefully they will have a top notch lineup since they know the dilution of quality is what people are scared of. Plus, they don't want to have peaked last year and now decline...they are known for getting better every year, so let's see if they can do it...
