I finally got around to sorting through the hour or so of video that I recorded over the course of the festival. Instead of editing it all into one long video, I decided to break it into 4 separate videos, one for each day. I was still getting used to my new phone when I recorded them, so the focus and light adjustment go a little haywire from to to time, and I didn't put much thought into carefully editing them, just threw them together chronologically, but I think they still turned out OK overall. Let me know what you think.
Friday
Saturday (This one is kinda long because Akron/Family and Sigur Ros)
Sunday

I am so happy you got all of Samurai so I could see it again. That set was amazing and when they did that song I cried.

I thought it was super ballsy for them to end the set like that. They were so loud and noisy the whole time then just faded out to almost acapella. Their set ended like so many great things, not with a bang, but with a whisper.

I turned around while they were playing so that I could see the same view... stunning and lovely just like the song.

Hey, so I finally got the chance to watch these videos and they are frickin awesome dude! I was writing down note the entire time 'cause they brought me back so hard. Notes on Friday: Pretty awesomely how I remember it but goddamn I regret missing Father John Misty. That set looks incredible! Man, North Americans just do not give as much of a shit about Arctic Monkeys, eh? Notes on Saturday: Michael kinuwake played the weight and I wasn't there to sing along?!?! Balls. One of my absolute favourite things to do in the world is be part of a group singalong to that song! At Akron/family, it's pretty cool that you caught souly's fabulous hair rocking out for the entire set. If its not her, then she has a hair doppelgänger and should get on getting rid of that. THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE! Also totally heard baby bro burrito's laugh at the end of that set. SIGUR RÓS! Something definitely happens to me that set. I was getting all tingly and emotional just watching the video. SERIOUSLY DUDES! Notes on Sunday: Not much 'cause apparently we went to opposite shows that day. My fave of the video is during Azari & III when the guy next to you says: "RIGHT NOW?!? ALL PARTY BABY!!!" Also you managed to capture the cool vantage of Mumsons that I had but from the opposite side of the hill. And god damn, that fucking primus show looks bananas. I don't regret my decision at all, because it would have been terrifying to me at the time and I got to see an AMAZING Presets show, but fuck, does it ever look cool. Notes on Monday: No chvrches? Now I'm kinda pissed I missed atlas genius. I like that song but I kind of figured it was the only thing in their bag of tricks. They actually look awesome! Haha, that death grips reminded me that I was hanging out with someone (KY?) until they started because I wanted to give them a try and then noped the fuck right out of there like three minutes into the set. Cake! Aaaahhhh! Jenny Lewis! You captured my favourite part, when she stomps up and is all "I feel I must interject here" and Ben Gibbard is such a dork and oh. The feels! Awesome videos dude! Exactly what I needed tonight, thank you!

A bunch of things that I would like to respond to individually, but I'm too lazy to quote each one separately. Michael Kiwanuka played The Weight with several members of Mumford & Sons on stage. It was an incredible surprise and a great moment. Pretty sure that is Souly's hair you're seeing. We figured out once tht I was standing right behind her and another boardie that set, even though I've never met either one face to face. SIGUR RÓS! Seriously! Apparently, you missed some great shows on Sunday. The again, I probably did too. No Chvrches because I went to Willy Moon and never regretted it for a second. Seriously, if you haven't listened to Here's Willy Moon, do so at your earliest convenience. I absolutely love it. When you say Atlas Genius, do you mean Imagine Dragons? If so, I felt the same way. I only caught that one song by accident while I was eating, but it made me wish I had watched more of their set. That was probably my favorite Postal Service moment too. I just wish I could have gotten clearer footage of Jenny Lewis' shoes. I also wish I could stop obsessing over Jenny Lewis' shoes. Anyway, glad you enjoyed them, I watch them again myself from time to time when I need to go to a happy place.

Haha, I can watch an hour and a half of videos and still I'm too lazy to go look up the correct spelling of somebody's name.
And I think it says a lot that I messed up Atlas Genius and Imagine Dragons. YOUR NAMES ARE DUMB!

I don't know why but in my head Jenny just stomped around in those amazing shoes for the entire set. STOMP STOMP STOMP now I'm playing drums, STOMP STOMP STOMP, now I'm singing, STOMP STOMP STOMP, now I'm making weenie fall even MORE in love with me, STOMP STOMP STOMP. Sigh, what a woman.
(And Fig, don't think I haven't forgotten your promise to father babies for me and Jenny when we're happily married.)

(And Dr. Garbanzo, don't think I haven't forgotten your promise to father babies for me and Jenny when we're happily married.) I would also volunteer my services if he doesn't come through. I do make beautiful children, but I can't promise that I'm not just offering as a ruse to try to steal her away from you.

Just watched these for the first time. Reliving Sasquatch in any form makes me happy. Is it time to go back yet?

Ever since my laptop got stolen a couple months ago, these videos are all I have of the hundreds of pictures and videos I took. It really fucking sucks, but it makes me so glad I uploaded these.
