Uhh no. I'm not going shut up just because you don't like my posts about them. Like them of not, Arcade Fire would be a lazy headlining booking for a world-renowned festival that they just headlined three years ago, and there's nothing subjective about that.

Like them of not, Arcade Fire would be a lazy headlining booking for a world-renowned festival that they just headlined three years ago, and there's nothing subjective about that. Your comment is lazy, as usual. Coachella has never re-booked a band, right? They are too world-renown for that , right? Coachella headliners have always been top notch, right? **Cough** Pheonix **Cough** King of Leon **Cough** Jack Johnson **Cough** Black Keys There has always been at least one (if not two) headliner that is a pass for most people*. So how about, instead of saying lame shit...You just pass. Go see another band. I'm sure that they could do a lot worse than Arcade Fire, regardless of your opinion. In before smug picture of Win Butler that will "prove" your point, again. Wait. What's your point? The Douche Canoe™ has set sail, with Captain Pea-brain at helm. *when I say "people" I mean the 1 percenters that are above that lame shit.

Oh look, what a surprise. The guy that refuses to meet anyone from the board and disappears for months on end completely missed the fact that my ENTIRE Arcade Fire rant in the other thread was 100% a playful interaction with HG. Guess what, chump? He and I had a great laugh about it. Move along.

Also, if you actually stuck around on this board and ya know, paid attention to the personalities around here, you would know that my entire existence here is one giant obnoxious stream of hyperboles. Do I HATE Arcade Fire? No. Of course not. Funeral is one of my favorite albums of all time. I just get a kick out expressing myself in the most extreme forms possible. Thanks for my new signature though! Great quote.

Thanks for my new signature though! Great quote. Little does he know I already trade marked Douche Canoe and it features Kanye and not Pea.

Shit.
I guess upon re-reading my post I was a little harsh. It was truly stream of consciousness from an admitted AF fanboy. But I really do stand by the points I made.
It's the internet, it's hard to convey a point without sounding like an idiot ( or like I'm angry , which I'm not). I honestly did not know that you were just picking on HG. I thought you were being a close minded dick. Goes to show when you assume...well you know how it goes.
I have not met anyone from the board. I probably never will. I am a coward. If it were not for my beautiful girl friend I would probably have no one I'd call a friend.
Just know, that I didn't mean to hurt you.
Also, I'm sorry that I made you cry.

Yeesh. Let's get this back on track. One of the better fake posters I've seen this year. How would you guys feel if the lineup was similar to this?

I wish there were a mod function that made it possible to ban Drunk Rusty but still let Regular Rusty post.

The most interesting thing I got out of that fake lineup was the the Dead Weather could be touring, and in fact they are going to be releasing new music which I didn't realize until now.
Edit: Also, after further analysis, that lineup looks very likely.

Aw, let's not start banning drunk posters, she said, consistently drunk.
I would be happy as a goddamn clam with that fake lineup. Pretty much everything that I'm currently into is on it. Although it makes me start to get nervous already about Coachella conflicts. I'm not prepared!

Aside from a couple of strange bookings and line placements (Nervo that high?), it's a very well thought out and researched lineup. I think if anything we can expect to see a few more electronic artist to help fill the Sahara and Yuma tents.

That fake saturday is basically the best thing I've ever seen. I have no intention of ever going to Coachella, but god damn if that lineup were real I'd have a hard time saying no.
