It's unclear if any actual sex happened in the orgy tent, but there was a condom wrapper in there Monday morning.
There was a lot of cuddles though, this much I know.

Ew, who banged in the orgy tent? Probably the same people who got Frito dust all over my sleeping pad so that I almost didn't make it home.

Frito dust? How did any frito dust even survive on your sleeping pad with all the pee water it was covered in when we took it out if the tent?

Damn, did you people seriously meet Rusty? ...was he a chupacabra? Rusty was cool as shit. I didn't get to see him as much as I would have liked, but he was pretty awesome

Finally came up with my highlights list, only it's by day because I'm terrible at ranking. I just love them all!
Top 5 of Friday
1) OutKast 2) Bonobo 3) Neko Case 4) Jagwar Ma 4.5) The Replacements guy just giving up and laying on the stage while Bille Joe Armstrong learned the chords to each song as they were playing it. Fucking hilarious and awesome. 5) Fuckin' Ellie Goulding
Top 5 of Saturday
1) Queens of the motherfuckin' Stone Age (OW!) 2) Darkside 3) The Pixies 4) Future Islands (so many new dance moves!) 5) Dat Ferris Wheel
Top 5 of Sunday
1) Neutral Milk Hotel (Seriously the weirdest I've ever been at a show. Full on regression into socially awkward baby weenie. What a goddamn moment. Really regretting not going to see them in Van.) 2) Arcade Fire (+ Daft Punk because those bastards TOTALLY GOT ME) 3) Beck (surprising the hell out of me) 4) Little Dragon 5) Giving up on seeing any bands during the day after Chance cancelled and just getting shitty campground drunk with all my favourite people.
Seriously, what a fucking weekend.

I'll play too!
Friday
1. Woodkid (w2) 2. Caravan Palace (w2) 3. The Replacements (w1) 4. Flume (w2) 5. Jagwar Ma (w2)
I did weekend 2 Friday about a million times better than weekend 1. Woodkid was seriously amazing and I never would have seen him over Chromeo/replacements if I only had one weekend.
Saturday
1. Pet Shop Boys (w1 and w2) 2. Pixies (w1 and w2) 3. Mogwai (w1) 4. Queens of the Stoneage (w1 and w2) 5. Capital Cities -> Future Islands (w2)
I doubled a lot of sets Saturday because Saturday was the bomb titties. I gave Muse 20 minutes to wow me and they failed pretty hard, so double Pet Shop Boys it was. I would see the Pet Shop Boys 100 times over before most other acts. Likely in my top 10 sets of all time, that show was a fucking experience and a half.
Sunday
1. Motorhead (w1 and w2) 2. Beck (w2) 3. NMH (w1 and w2) fuck those teenage girls trying to get a good spot for Lana Del Ray then sitting on my feet while I'm crying my eyes out. 4. Fatboy Slim (w1) only set I braved the Sahara for. Fuck that place, but it's awesome for keeping so many people I dislike away from the rest of the festival. 5. Arcade Fire (w2)
Motorhead was amazing and if you didn't see any of their set you fucked up. Might be the last chance most of us have to see them and it was amazing. Lemmy didn't do much, but the drummer, guitarist and Slash all fucking killed it to no end.
I still can't decide if I would do both weekends again. I feel surprisingly good after the amount of abuse my body took, but it was a marathon and a costly one at that. I will say I think I like weekend 2 better than weekend 1. Everything seemed more lax, security line in was peanuts (as opposed to insane weekend 1 at the same time) crowds were more manageable and the whole thing seemed less stressful. The fact that I had already seen most of my must sees people helped with that though.

Friday
1. Chromeo - Best dance party of the weekend. I can't believe these guys continue to get better live. The new songs sounds AMAZING (especially "Jealous"). Great guest appearance by my boy Toro. Also, great to see my boy P-Thugg looking slim and trim! 2. HAIM (although technically I didn't see them AT Coachella, I saw them 4 days afterwards...I still consider it Coachella) - Holy moly these girls can shred. Amazing. Such a fun show. BASS ALL UP IN YO FACE! 3. Girl Talk - Crazy fun dance party. Fat Busta Rhymes cameo was a highlight. Dude was awesome.
Unfortunately that was about it for me Friday, as we missed most of Friday afternoon due to a medical emergency, and then the Friday night acts sucked balls (The Knife and Outkast).
Saturday
1. Future Islands - Awesome show. The band was great, the crowd was great. Really fun dance party. 2. SKRILL SKRILL - Dude flew around in a spaceship. With lasers. And fire. A$AP Rocky came out to do "Wild For The Night". It was awesome. 3. CHVRCHES - Weird that they were on the outdoor in the middle of the afternoon, but still a ton of fun. These guys are just the best. 4. Capital Cities - even though I saw them at Sasquatch, I was totally blown away by these guys. Awesome energy. The trumpet player is phenomenal. Would have been amazing if Andre made it out for Farah Fawcett Hair, but I don't think he gets out of bed for less than $100k these days. 5. Unlocking the Truth - Sure it's a novelty act, but it was awesome. The kids looked like they were having the time of their lives and it was a ton of fun. I got into a circle pit. METAL.
H/M - Lorde sounded great, but we couldn't get anywhere near her and with the screens down because of the storm it wasn't worth sticking around very long. Caught about 3 songs of Pet Shop Boys and they were great. Kid Cudi was turnt the hell up. Pharrell was the best karaoke show I've ever seen.
Sunday
1. Arcade Fire - These guys know how to put on a show. The new songs sounded great and the new percussionists add a ton of life to the older songs that I was worried were going to get a little stale. Debbie Harry sounded amazing (and looked amazing! She's 68!?!?!). The parade around the field with the Preservation Hall Band after the power was cut was a really special moment and a fantastic way to end the weekend. 2. Beck - Dude brought the funk. Totally did not see that coming. 3. Calvin Harris - Super fun dance party. I love main stage electronic acts. I guess this is the year I'm over the Sahara, only got in there once. 4. Preservation Hall Jazz Band - holy shit these old dudes are amazing. Such a fun set. The hot tuba solo was my favourite part. 5. Blood Orange - Brought the sexy back.

FInally got the framing completed on my Coachella poster. Looks sweet! Apparently this shit glows in the dark. I'm still skeptical.

You should check out Flatstock at Bumbershoot, they always have quite a few from Sasquatches past and other shows too. It's my favourite thing to check out every year at Bumbershoot; I have far too many posters from there that are still rolled up in tubes.
