You should've stuck around! By song 4 or 5 they fixed most of the issues and the tail end of her set was phenomenal. I get the disappointment though.

1. Sigur Ros/Primus 3D. SR probably would've taken the cake if I wasn't distracted by my buddy and his horrendous drunken mushroom trip for much of the show. Epic (to finally use that word in its proper context), beautiful, and well put-together. And Primus just fucking brought it. The musical relationship of Lalonde and Claypool is just astounding to witness. Plus that 3d was the tits.
2. Grimes. I was in a perfect position soundwise - incredibly impressive performance. Lights, the dancers, and the woman herself. What a charismatic demon.
3. Danny Brown. Just great. High energy, got the crowd wilding out, and hilariously drunk. Good setlist too.
4. Red Fang. Great way to open the fest. Righteous riffage.
5. Dirty Projectors. Put on a fantastic show despite the rain. Sound was excellent, they all played exceptionally well. Dave's the man.
Honourable Mentions: Torche, Holy Ghost!, Father John Misty, El-p

No particular order...
Mumford & Sons (I have my reasons) Sigur Ros Grimes Dropkick Murphys Steve Aoki/Disclosure (One big drunk blur of insanity with lahey and Bill. I think most of you got to meet Bill at some point) Father John Misty The Presets (One of the best electronic sets I've seen in my entire life. All of you Presets haters have no idea what you missed) Chvrches John Talabot (Boarder party!) Elliott Brood
I will say, Primus was one of the most badass things EVER, but my mindset was absolutely not in the right place to handle it.

Phone Sex was one of the best songs of the weekend, I was blown away
Grimes was just too cute for words...
"Um...hi"
"So this is a joke song, but it's not really a joke so um yeah.....I hope you enjoy"

My favorites were:
Primus (agreed that it was one of the best sets I've seen in five Sasquatches) Tame Impala Capital Cities Disclosure John Talabot Postal Service Holy Ghost! Alt-J Earl Sweatshirt
Had me a great damn time. But I do have to pile on here: that fucking Bigfoot stage. Empire of the Sun was mostly ruined for me, Grimes was partially ruined, Death Grips, Alt-J and Vampire Weekend didn't sound so great. And I'm sure there were others. So, between that and missing Sigur Ros because I was waiting for Tame Impala for an hour and a half, I was a bit salty. But even so - I had a blast. How could you not?

When Primus started and then Salad Fingers was the 1st 3-D visual, my kids and I shared a special moment of appreciation and laughter. Definitely one of my favorite performances.

I was so pleased with the crowd appreciation for the heavy rock sets of the weekend. Red Fang looked a little shocked when the crowd was chanting for them before they even started playing. I don’t think they were expecting the Sasquatch crowd to embrace them. Their set fucking rocked. Torche was blistering. The vocals were a bit low but it was still an incredible set. I hope Snacks took note of the crowd love and continues to bring in more rock bands like them.

Weird. I could have sworn she said that was a new song that she was ending the set with. I kept telling everyone she just wrote the best pop song of the past 5 years. I feel dumb now haha.

I hadn't really thought of Akron/Family as a metal band before their set, but they sounded heavy as fuck. I loved the way they are going with their sound.

I had to miss the end of her set to head over to Azari & III. They weren't playing a live set like I expected, they instead opted for the ridiculously funky dj set. It was so much fun in there, it's a shame so many folks had to skip them for Grimes or Mumford. One of the best dance parties of the weekend in my opinion!
