I think Burrito is asleep. Quick, someone tell me which Akron/Family album I need.

The only one I've listened to consistently is S/T II: The Cosmic Birth and Journey of Shinju TNT

That is also the album I would recommend starting with, although Sub Verses is really growing on me.

ST II is probably the best entry point. The original ST is my favorite of theirs but it doesn't have a whole lot in common with what they're doing today musically Love is Simple and Sub Verses are also good albums to check out.

Not that there was ever much of a conflict for me between the Postal Service and Rusko, but the videos of the Postal Service from Coachella got me excited for them again. I was starting to not care much thanks to them doing gigs seemingly everywhere. Not that that should be a conflict for anyone, but for real, that Postal Service set was off the charts. I honestly didn't expect shit but they played new arrangements, extensions, variations, and made that album come to life in brand new ways. We were all together when they started playing and then I felt like I was talking about how good they were too much so I ran away and watched them from somewhere else.

I like that the Dream of Evan and Chan is listed as a Dntel cover. I mean, it is in the strictest sense but...

I was shocked at how energetic everything was. They definitely breathed new life into those songs. And Jenny Lewis.

Everyone was shocked. I was so freakin glad I caught a couple songs because it got me really really excited for a full headlining set at Sasquatch.

I thought I was going to catch the end of Nick Offerman's set after Devendra Banhart, but then I started really listening to Akron/Family. Now I know there is no way I am going to miss them.

Good choice! I do wish more of the comedy could've been earlier in the day, though, so sacrifices like that could be avoided.
