I guess the poster wanted to make the thread and will update it with edits later on?
Right now this thread is just annoying.
P.S. I hope the schedule conflicts don't suck.

If this is even close to true, I'm going to have real issues seeing any combination of TVOTR, M83 and the Dodos

He has Bon Iver headlining the Wookie stage. It's obviously him guessing.

I'm not sure why Bon Iver headlining the Wookie makes this an "obvious" guess. Is it that he was billed 12th on the initial lineup, and would "obviously" play the main stage, or that you think he is "obviously" not big enough to headline the Wookie?

It's just obviously a fucking stupid lead-in to any kind of headliner.

And why the hell are you putting obviously in quotes? I'm not 'sure' if 'that' is really a 'big' deal.

Bon Iver is listed on the Sasquatch main page as playing the Wookie, which would make him the highest billed act to play the Wookie, based on the initial lineup. That would mean he is "likely" to headline the Wookie stage, and would make my "obvious guess" more based on logic. You are already making yourself look like an idiot though, I don't need to add to this.
So, can you now go away so we can rationally discuss conflicts? This is after all just a compilation of which stages the main Sasquatch page states specific bands will play on, and which order they billed them.
As for the TV on the Radio/M83/Dodos, agreed, that is really the only big conflict I see. I'd probably go with M83.

I know you've committed yourself to retardation, but wait and see.
If you're right the insults aren't really necessary. My whole point was that you're pulling this shit out of your ass, which you've cemented for everyone, so chill on the 'insults' already.
And maybe update your dumb thread when there's some real data, asshole.

UPDATE: ssss needs a warm bottle of milk, a couple pats on the back with an absorbing cloth, and a nap. He is getting a bit fussy.
As for Monday, I really hope the new adds do not throw off the billed order, and they don't change the stages much. I am worried there might be some major conflicts on this day, but as is above, there is virtually none (for me). As it stands, I'm glad I get to see Explosions in the Sky over the early part of Ben Harper's set. I'll wander down for the last four Ben Harper songs after Explosions are done.

This thread is wildly presumptuous. Silly and pointless. It's like deciding what you're going to watch on TV on April 24th... what's the point in speculation when you have no clue how it's going down yet?

So when will the actual schedule be up? Does anybody remember about when it was announced last year?

thanks for putting that together as a first time sasquatchee I was trying to figure out approximate times. I have a feeling that Sunday is going to have some bad conflicts for me with Of Montreal going up against NIN and Janes. Does anyone know how long the set changes are between bands? Is it a quick 20 to 30 minutes or more like 45? Thanks

I compiled the schedule in the first post based on information from the main Sasquatch page, which preliminarily states which stage each band will play, and has them listed in order of highest billed. In the past, Sasquatch has mostly stuck to the formula of higher billed acts playing later in the day. If the festival was this weekend, this lineup would be pretty accurate, there will obviously be some changes in stages, plus a couple adds may poop some down a slot. The time slots were copied from last years schedule. There is zero personal opinion in the lineup above.
As for the real lineup, it should come out early May.
Depending on how long it takes a band to set up, the breaks are mostly under 30 minutes, sometimes closer to 15.

Thanks for the response. Its good that there are quick set changes. It should be that way since everything can be set up before 12.

Sorry if this has been posted, but they updated the schedule page separating out the Dance and Comedy tents. sasquatchfestival09.sched.org/allIt looks like there will be a dance add for Saturday as James Pants is the only act booked for the dance tent that day, and the other two days show two dance tent acts per day. Maybe Cornelius or Caribou. Caribou would be great. Spank Rock would be nice but they are probably too big for that. Some turntabilism would work like Yoda/Z-trip/Q-bert or even DJP. Maybe they are holding out for someone big to help sell Saturday as Kings of Leon seem to be the weakest headliner (in terms of overall popularity, imo). Any other ideas?

Caribou isn't dance music, or electronic music, unless there is more than one act named Caribou. I am surprised Caribou, the Canadian jam band with two drummers, hasn't played Sasquatch yet. Sasquatch seems to be a big draw for Canadians.
I don't know electronic music too much, so I can't speculate as to who they might add. I don't think it would have to be a huge draw either though, since some might just avoid Kings of Leon.

I guess they fit into my loose interpretation of "electronic" music as they are heavy on synthesizers and low on vocals. I was just watching their dvd last weekend, so they were stuck in my mind. On a semi-related note, I would highly recommend their dvd Marino for anyone that enjoys Caribou. But whether they would be added to the dance tent or a regular stage they would be a good addition.
