2010 there was a large batch of fake Coachella wristbands being sold in Indio. They were fabric and looked good, but the colors were a little off. When you put them next to a real one you could tell. People were showing up at the entrance and freaking when the realized they had been scammed. My Coachella wristband is being hand-delivered by the mighty mighty Shaxspear so I know it's legit. As for Sasquatch, I'm a little surprised that it sold out as quickly as it did, but I guess it's a sign of the times. For anyone that can afford it, I highly recommend buying next year's tickets during the pre-sale, knowing you can probably sell it for face or close to it if the lineup isn't to your liking (not likely) or you can't make it for some reason. I do this for a lot of shows (buy as early as possible, usually pre-sale, and rest assured I can sell it afterwards if it comes to that).

I've never seen this level of people freaking out about Sasquatch before. So glad I ordered my ticket and premier pass on Friday night and pressured my friends into doing it too before the general on-sale happened. I just had a strange feeling that a sellout was imminent even before seeing somebody post about almost 20k tickets being sold through Friday. This really makes me want to start buying my ticket in November from now on, even though it's absolutely the worst time of year for me to be spending hundreds of dollars. I truly hope all of you end up getting to go still and don't have to pay a huge premium over face value.
