Glad they are coming back. I missed them in 2010 while waiting in line for 2 hours.

Aye. Along with Tallest Man, it's good to see some of my favourite acts from 2010 come back. The thing about DP (The Dirty's? 'Jectors? I'm shit at shorthand) is that I really hated them when I first listened to them, but got slowly won over. Their reworking of Damaged got me hooked.

My first exposure to DP was actually at a Zach Hill concert in 2007, when they were opening for Hella on the 'There's No 666 in Outer Space' tour. I had never heard of them before, and to this day have never been so blown away by an opening act. They had recently released and were performing songs from their most experimental (and therefor my favorite) release, 'New Attitude', as well as early renditions of the Black Flag material. I had never heard anyone take so many shitty punk songs and make them so awesome before. So fucking awesome, in fact, that not even halfway through Hella's set I was already craving more of that Dirty. DP out performed Zach Hill that night, and that is no joke.
