Man, that Macklemore/VW conflict is going to suck.
I've seen them both already, but this is going to be Macklemore's biggest show yet. I wouldn't want to miss it.
But I love Vampire Weekend way more. Probably will go with that one.

Also, YES. Tame Impala doesn't conflict with Sigur Ros. That was one of my biggest worries.

I am very happy how saturday turned out with very little conflict. I realized how this lineup really isn't that deep. There really isn't anything I really want to see on sunday until Elvis Costello who is conflicting with killer mike. Monday just shit on me with conflicts azealia banks vs death grips vs toro y moi vs menomena. Then Cake vs twin shadow vs disclosure vs beachwood sparks. That shit sucks. Saturday may end up being one of the best festival days in history for me though so oh well.

See the hour-long Death Grips set because Zach Hill's face is going to explode.
As will mine and probably several others.

I like the schedule, However I do have some conflicts...
Friday is pretty clear of conflict, Missing half of Father John while at Built To Spill isn't ideal but do-able...I'm not too big on macklemore so missing half of his set is a blessing in disguise...
Saturday starts with the Rose Windows vs Bear Mountain conflict, JJ Grey vs Indians, Devendra vs Andrew Bird vs Akron/Family but the shows are off-set so it isn't too big of a stretch to catch at least parts of two sets...I'm pretty happy Surfer Blood gives me something to do to avoid the XX...I will probably miss TEED due to Tame Impala ----> Sigur Ros....
Sunday starts out with a triple conflict with Wake Owl vs Capital Cities vs Deep Sea Diver, it will be interesting to see what the rest of the group wants to do, and if they are all too haggard I may just run between stages or post up and nap it out...Fang Island vs Wild Belle is a minor conflict but the day is looking like a bigfoot day so wild belle will probably get the boot...Grimes is going to be packed with not much else going on during her set...The Mumfords will get a top of the hill glance before heading over to get spots for Primus...
Monday most of the group wants to see Imagine Dragons, I will gladly be over at Dirty Projectors alone and will probably pop over to see some of Odeza's set...The big conflict of the day is Death Grips vs Toro Y Moi vs Menomena but Death Grips is the forerunner right now because they are the most uncommon act of the three...Twin Shadow vs Disclosure is the same deal, disclosure will win out due to the fact Twin Shadow has been at sasquatch before and was in the area last summer...Alt-J vs The Lumineers is pretty brutal, due to the fact that half the group are big lumineer fans and the other half are Alt-J fans, I will be the wild card because I almost want to see how much of a pouty trainwreck Ariel Pink's show will be...
Now starts the fun part...Making playlists and going through the conflicts to try to decide who everyone wants to see and to start making preliminary schedules and mapping out our plan of attack...

I'm actually fuming right now. How do they book Alt - J and Ariel Pink against each other? Those bands have like a 95% overlap in fans I'd actually wager that it's more likely that 95% of Alt-J fans have never heard of Ariel Pink. Word. The Lumineers/Alt-J conflict is going to be the bigger deal.

Fuck yes to Friday, that's about as good as I could have asked for.
Saturday: I wish they would move the comedy back earlier in the day like previous years, but other than that, solid too.
Sunday is pretty lame until the Elvis/Grimes/some Munsons/Primus party. Too bad I'll miss the Presets, but I just saw then 6ish months ago.
Monday: Fuck Chvrches being that early, this is what I was afraid of. Elliott Brood vs Cody Chesnutt blows, I can't believe Azealia Banks is playing after Imagine Dragons, cake/disclosure/twin shadow sucks, but Cake for sure.
Overall, I'm happy. I'm starting to feel old because there isn't much that makes me want to get in the fest until around 5 mosts days save for Chvurches. I may need to do some more research.

Yay! The schedule looks pretty good (from what I can see on my phone)! Gonna be doing some running back and forth but that's nothing new. I'm sure once I pull my highlighters out I'll find something to bitch about. Souly, looks like Sunday is a good night for tent crashing?

Grimes is going to be packed with not much else going on during her set... Good point, why is there an hour gap between Elvis and Mumsons? Do they have a huge stage setup or are they just giving Elvis time to run long. I would hope it's the latter.

The latter seems to be very popular in this thread.

This pretty much echoes all my own thoughts. Sunday really makes me realize I have some research to do 'cause otherwise I'm not headed in until Elvis Costello at 8pm. Monday is the only day that presents any conflicts for me otherwise it all seems fairly easy to schedule out right now. Funny how Sasquatch realeased their schedule before Coachella, but at least I know what to pick at Coachella now without worrying if there might be more potential conflicts, knowing I can see it at Sasquatch instead with certainty.

Very pleased with this. Far less conflict than expected. I guess the logic behind the Vampire Weekend situation is that half of their audience would be at Macklemore...but we'll see how that pans out. This could be an instance where the festival just falls flat on it face. I can't really believe they wouldn't just switch stage placement but I guess kid did have a Billboard #1 hit... Sigur Ros on the main stage at 11-12:30= bliss. It's pretty interesting how Torche and Red Fang are both in the afternoon. They don't want us rioting. Hey man, I'm all for slowly integrating the metal into this festival. Hopefully it means we'll see bigger names in the future. Fucking stoked for both of these, though...Red Fang>>Japandroids especially. Also, whether he's aware of it or not, I'm telepathically high-fiving Burrito because DP aren't at 2 in the afternoon. That's going to be a lovely set. Holy shit, ladies and gentleman...just a month and a bit to go.

The best part is that it's highly likely Vampire Weekend will have the #1 album in the country the week of Sasquatch because their new one comes out on the 14th...

It is definitely weird to see an act that had such a prime slot on the main stage in 2010 get "downgraded" to headlining the bigfoot stage...

Grimes is going to be packed with not much else going on during her set This bums me out pretty bad. I wanted to get close for her and she plays immediately following Baths, who I also wanted to be close for and I didn't really want to leave his set early either. Oh well I hear Grimes is absolutely bonkers live so I guess I'll have to suck it up and get their early.

I was totally prepared to miss all of Grimes for Elvis Costello so I will take showing up late to her set and being near the back over not seeing her at all.
A good chunk of people will still hang around the main stage to hold their spot for Mumsons though, so it might not be THAT packed.

Pretty stoked that I can cross Japandroids, Grimes and Sigur Ros off of my "Coachella must-see" list.
Saturday kind sucks...not really anything I super want to see until pretty late. Guess I'll probably make it in for at least Nick Offerman. Talabot, TEED and Sigur Ros will be friggen great though.
Sunday and Monday are totally stacked. There is stuff I want to see all day, although I have no idea how I am going to drag myself in there for 1ish to catch Capital Cities and Chvrches.

Yea I just noticed there's no one I want to see on Saturday until Andrew Bird at 5:55. More cheap partying in the campground, hey!

Hey wompwomp, I don't know anything I want to see all day time sunday, but I love all of saturday. What will you see during the day on sunday? On saturday I will be seeing: bear mountain or rose windows, Bombino, BRMC, Devandra banhart, Andrew bird, Holly Ghost!, Bloc Party, Divine fits(super group of spoon and handsome furs), John talabot, Tame impala, Sigur ros. Maybe not all you kind of music, but definitely a day that is far from sucking if you check all that out.
