Gross, they really ought to switch Disclosure to Steve Aoki's 90 minute set time. That would be a much more awesome way to shut down the dance tent for the weekend.

Aoki, love him or hate him, is a bigger draw.

He can also fill a 90 minute set, something I'm pretty sure Disclosure can't do at this point in their career.

Disclosure played for 90 minutes last night in Portland and they've got more material than that!

I hope no one thinks I'm defending Aoki, he's garbage. I was just under the impression that Disclosure leaned more heavily on their stuff than mixes they'd made.

Disclosure actually have a pretty reasonably sized body of work if you include their new album. They probably have somewhere in the range of 20ish songs and some remixes on top of that. They've got plenty to choose from when deciding what to translate to their live show.

Damn, did not expect that. That's a nice surprise.

Steve Aoki's songs may be garbage, but he does bring some crazy energy to the show! He's perfect for the dance tent closing I think. Disclosure will be amazing as well.

Last year was my first Sasquatch. Blacking out made my Friday last year better... A traveling caravan of entrepreneurial gypsys came by at 11am and sold us some goods (edibles, drinkables, etc). I was already at least 6 beers deep as well. I think the "drinkable" stuff had some shady stuff in it. I was almost instantly blackout. At one point I have a hazy memory of trading my sombrero to some other guy for his baseball hat and a small square piece of paper that I put on my tongue... I'm not sure if this was on the grounds or at the campsite. Regardles I went wondering around the camp and lost my group. It couldn't have been later than 2pm at this point. I lost the next 4 or 5 hours of my life! I have ZERO recollection of walking into the Gorge for the first time. ZERO. The walk, the view, getting down into the main stage pit area. ZERO recollection. My first memory was near the end of the Santigold set. I was smack dab in the middle of the inner pit. I was completely messed up. Everything was moving, and I turned around and the entire hill of people behind me blew my skull. I had no idea how I got there (still don't). My $315 ticket had magically turned into a wristband. I still shudder to think that I was completely blackout and risked driving 16 hours only to risk losing my ticket. Someone must have taken care of me at some point. I stayed in the pit area right through Girl Talk and Pretty Lights. Probably the most fun I've ever had. I spent half of the Pretty Lights set turned around 180 degrees just staring at the hill of people behind me. I remember walking back to the camp after Pretty Lights and just thinking to myself that I must have been transported in there because there is no way I could have possibly forgotten that walk. Bizarre day. 10/10, would read again.

I just realized that Saturday is going to be completely insane for me. I think 5 from my top 10 of the whole weekend are playing consecutively.
John Talabot > Tame Impala > TEED > Sigur Ros > Empire Of The Sun
I think Saturday may be a "weed and alcohol only" day just to make sure I can remember that absolutely thrilling string of artists. Then again, my mind might be changed once I'm actually there.

I couldn't possibly miss any of Sigur Ros at the Gorge though. Saturday's lineup is one of the most complete, awesome from start to finish days that they've ever put together in my opinion.

I guess I'm missing something, because Saturday looks absolutely barren to me....Like one of the worst Sasquatch days I have ever seen. I might not make it into the grounds until like 9.

I like that in the same day, several boardies proclaimed Saturday to be one of the best festival days we've ever seen on any lineup and several other boardies proclaimed it to be the exact opposite.

I have a big hole in my Saturday schedule between Akron/Family and Tame Impala. I'm looking for suggestions as to which acts I should check out during that time. Please provide evidence and/or suggestions for good starting places to aquaint myself with the acts you suggest. Thanks.

Porcelain Raft is a really cool dreampop project, if you're into that sort of thing, and John Talabot is one of the best electronic- based artists Sasquatch has ever/will ever book. His tunes are straight up fucking sexelecto.
