Yeah I agree. Macklemore vs. Primus seems more likely than Vampire Weekend.

I totally agree with you Cbats. Macklemore is so stupidly popular in the NW there's no doubt in my mind they have a bigger draw than VW right now.

All valid points. I guess I'm just not a huge fan of Macklmore so I don't see the draw as clearly.

I mean, I'm definitely not going to go see macklemore, but people sure do seem to like him. Another one of those headliners that makes me happy I don't have to decide between him and something else, because just about anything else would be preferable.

If they actually have Macklemore and Vampire Weekend overlapping each other I'll be pissed, because I genuinely love both. I'm really not sure why they'd do that though. It should be VW with a late night slot starting right after Macklemore finishes up. I thought before the lineup announcement that if VW was at Sasquatch this year they'd be a headliner after the giant crowd they drew last time, and having them headline Bigfoot is a demotion for a band that's more popular now.
I'm guessing the same as everyone that says the festival sold out as fast as it did because of Macklemore's sky high popularity in the northwest. It makes no sense putting him up against a band that could have easily headlined as well, it'll either seriously split the crowd or one or the other (most likely VW) would have a significantly smaller crowd than they would otherwise.

I would love a Macklemore/VW conflict because I really don't like Macklemore but yeah, I understand where you're coming from and I don't think it would be a good move by the festival to have them playing at the same time.

Sigh
Vampire Weekend is not playing the Bigfoot. That was either a placeholder or a mistake on the completely unofficial lineup we found. No reason to overanalyze it because it makes no sense and is absolutely not happening.

There's already 6 bands on the Sasquatch stage for Friday, not including Vampire Weekend. They had 5 last year. Perhaps they're actually going to be on Sunday, since there's only 7 bands scheduled that day whereas Saturday and Monday have 8 each.

I gotta agree with Cbats. They probably just never figured out exactly where to put them. Unless they are doing something special with the Bigfoot this year it would be insane to have The Lumineers subheadline a night while Vampire Weekend is on the second stage.

They're going to play right before Macklemore. Move either Arctic Monkeys or Built to Spill over to the Bigfoot if you need to.

This is all easily explained by having the Bigfoot go to 1am, I'm not sure why people are so against that idea. There wouldn't be overlap with Marklemore that way as the Main stage usually ends at 11:30 and then the Bigfoot closer goes from 11:30-1:00.
If it really was a placeholder, why wouldn't they mark them down for the Main stage if they'd planned on having them eventually announced as Main stage? It's not like they were a late add to the lineup.

If there's any sort of logic involved, no band that is billed 5th on the lineup is ever going to be on the Bigfoot stage. 5th through 8th billing are all Sasquatch stage sub-headliners. We just don't know which day they'll be sub-headlining. Arctic Monkeys and Elvis Costello are plenty big enough to sub-headline, so it seems more likely VW will be on Saturday or Monday since they could easily move ahead of the XX or the Lumineers.

So is that excel work sheet " 2013" the actual set times you guys got off their site?

It's like if this year's artists were playing last year, those would be their set times. It's likely to be something resembling that in a slight way, but will be different for sure.

I am not a supporter of VW playing Friday since I won't be there and they are persoanlly one of the biggest draws for me.
However their own website shows Friday and Pollstar shows Friday, plus the source code sorcery. I hate to say it but all signs point to a VW Friday set.
Now whether its on Bigfoot or the main stage is still very much up for debate.
