Matthew Dear is going to be fantastic. I'll be seeing most of his set and then going to Vampire Weekend afterwards, who I am also quite excited for so we'll see how that transition works out.

ZZ Ward is about to crack my top 10. I read about people comparing her to Gary Clark Jr. (who I loved at Sasquatch last year) and Adele, so it got me interested. I highly recommend you guys listen to her album from last year. She has the first timeslot of the entire weekend at 4pm on Friday on the Sasquatch stage, so it shouldn't create conflicts for many people.

1. Youth Lagoon 2. Sigur Ros 3. Tame Impala 4. Surfer Blood 5. Divine Fits 6. DIIV 7. Baths 8. Grimes 9. Toro Y Moi 10. Postal Service
Edit: Damnit! I forgot about Japandroids. I really would like to see them again. I saw them one time right after Post-Nothing came out in Vancouver, BC at the Rickshaw. They were amazing. They had those huge industrial fans pointed at them the whole time. Which I thought was hilarious. I honestly am not sure where to slot them in. Maybe I could swap out Divine Fits?

Also, I'm not even going to lie. I'm going to be checking out Lumineers again at sasq. I love their sound but hate their fans.

Man, all this time I thought "ZZ Ward" was an old-timey black blues musician. I thought it was a combo of ZZ Top and M Ward. If she really does sound like Gary Clark Jr or Adele I might have to give her a chance.

If she really does sound like Gary Clark Jr or Adele I might have to give her a chance. Her songs fit into the same soul/blues/hip hop category as Gary Clark Jr. and some of the songs sound at least a bit similar. Her vocals are very strong like Adele's. I don't choose to judge her based on her fashion choices but rather on the music, which I enjoy. Just like anything else, it isn't for everyone.
