I bet Friday is Azealia Banks->Bloc Party->Macklemore. Unless a late add is Kendrick Lamar or something. I mean it would make sense, his label-mates Schoolboy Q and Ab-Soul are there.
Saturday Night: The XX->The Postal Service->Vampire Weekend Sunday Night: Imagine Dragons-> The Lumineers->Mumford Sunday Night Cake->Primus 3D->Sigur Ros
That's probably pretty accurate but I thought the Postal Service was headlining a night and Vampire Weekend was part of the undercard. It really should be the other way around, but that seems to be the way they ordered it.
I feel like this lineup is slightly behind 2010 and 2012 as far as awesomeness goes, but it's still pretty damn good. There were several omissions from the lineup that I would have loved to see, mainly Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Flaming Lips, any form of Neko Case. I'm starting to think I should just accept that Portishead will never be at Sasquatch. I wonder if that rumor about Wayne Coyne not wanting to do Sasquatch again is true, given that they have a new record out in April and seemed to be likely.
To be fair, Wayne seemed pretty pissed about getting his set cut off to celebrate Squatch's birthday.
At work drinking an enormous Gatorade and looking at the lineup. It's so fucking good. The hip hop alone is incredible, but everything else is top-notch. Bummer that there's no Knife, but I'm not really surprised about that.
And by this I mean that this is stereoscopic 3D and it will not work unless it is completely dark. Considering at least half of any sub-head slot takes place before or during sunset, I can confidently say that Primus will have a late-night set.
