Pheonix - Bankrupt! (fuck you guys, I like Phoenix too!)
I quite like this album. It's no Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix, but I didn't expect them to be able to top that. The first half is pretty hit or miss, but the second half is excellent. "Bankrupt" through to the end is really freaking awesome.

Dude, I know you've been banging the drum for Phoenix for a while now....but holy cow they suck. They should be a band that's right up my alley too. They do absolutely nothing for me. ;D

I actually like this album more than Wolfgang etc. It reminds me more of the old Phoenix that I loved in the summer of Alphabetical.

You just go have an awesome time during The Presets at Sasquatch, and I'll go have an awesome time at Phoenix during Coachella, and we'll all be happy! Win-win! Friends again?

This is the first time I've ever done this, but I'd like to add David Bowie's "The Next Day" before I've even finished the first listen of the album. I'm that confident that the second half will be enough to land it strongly on my list. This shit is AWESOME.

J/T - The 20/20 Experience
What to say about this one.....it's kind of all over the place. Four phenomenal songs, three cringe-worthy songs and three good to really good songs.
As much as I hate to say it, it's time to cut the cord with Timbaland and send him out to pasture. Some of these beats are just downright awful. Dude has lost it. The standout tracks are the ones where Timbaland has very little to do and JT's new big band, "The Tenesse Kids" takes over.
This album is definitely not what I was expecting, there's no "Sexy Back" or "My Love"....but it's still pretty damn good.
