I'm still working through a pretty massive backlog of music but I know that I want to add:
Typhoon - White Lighter

I love Typhoon but have yet to give the new album a listen. A year or two, a friend of mine in Boise who managed a popular downtown pizza joint convinced Typhoon to play a small set on the patio in exchange for a free pizza or two. Was pretty amusing watching all 10 of the band members trying to fit their equipment on the tiny patio.

Ha, they must really love pizza because they ordered it when they played at my school as well. I kind of got in trouble for it too because the bullshit monopoly of a food service we had on campus was upset about it.

Aramark is not to be trifled with.

Adding:
Exhumed - Necrocracy
Who would think that two of the pioneers of modern day death metal (Gorguts and Exhumed) would both release the best albums of their careers over two decades after forming? Man I fucking love bands that just keep getting better over the years.

Beat me to it, nick. I need a couple more listens before making a declaration though. Same with The Naked and Famous' new one.
I also just grabbed Factory Floor's DFA debut LP, but haven't had a chance to listen to it yet.
I will add Volcano Choir today though.

Never ever ever thought I would see a NIN album in a Gramma favorite list. Hell, even I don't know if I dig that new one yet.

I've been waiting for a Nine Inch Nails album that sounds more or less like Pretty Hate Machine since I was fifteen years old. I listened to Hesitation Marks on the bus this morning, and I was so fucking delighted by it that I listened to it again and then again after that.

Add MGMT - MGMT for me.
Really dark and psychedelic. Not as fun and poppy as their previous albums, but that's actually a welcome change. I'm diggin the direction MGMT is going.
Also, add Queens of the Stone Age - Like Clockwork.
