I haven't added amy for a while! Please add:
Various Artists - After Dark 2 Classixx - Hanging Garden Thundercat - Apocalypse Mount Kimbie - Cold Spring Fault Less Youth Disclosure - Settle Hyetal - Modern Worship
I think a few of you electronic leaning folks need to listen to that Hyetal album. It's a bunch of dark, lush walls of noise that come together in a weird dance music format. It's really good. I'm bad at explaining music. Highly recommended.
Oh also, can you take out The Knife? It's not especially my cup o' tea.

I might end up adding Sigur Ros and Surfer Blood (which are both great) but I need to spend more time with them.

Since the search feature is broken, I'm having a really tough time finding a specific thread from a few weeks ago. Someone mentioned that they always listen to albums that get an 8.2, because that's the highest they will rate something that SHOULD have received Best New Music, but it doesn't reach a wide enough audience. Assuming I didn't just make that up, here's an EXCELLENT representation of that: pitchfork.com/reviews/albums/18156-thundercat-apocalypse/This Thundercat album is absolutely beautiful. After the first listen I was unimpressed, but once I got down in to it, it really sucked me in and I can't get enough now. Give it a listen if you love jazzy, souly goodness. Also, the album was produced by Flying Lotus so you know it's got something goin on.

But also, yeah, add Yeezus to mine as well. First listen didn't impress me, further listens REALLY impressed me! Great album.

Updated.
Also feeling confident enough to finally add the new Sigur Ros. I initially thought that album was just a "rock" record with no real substance, but I should have known better. It's really starting to grow on me now.
Also, Deafheaven's Sunbather is by far my favorite album of the year so far, and one of the most incredible metal albums I've heard in my entire life.

You mean add it to my to-do list for this evening? Alright.
For serious though, I'm back in a black Bjork t-shirt and ready to hit the sack. Then, after hitting the sack, I will be here to update lists.

Adding:
Mark Mulcahy - Dear Mark J. Mulcahy, I Love You
First solo album from former Miracle Legion/Polaris frontman since 2005; probably also his best since Music From the Adventures of Pete & Pete. So happy to have him back.

Haha, sorry buddy. Figured I'd fix it in the off chance that someone on here is gonna consider checking them out. That just keeps on giving and giving though.

Adding:
Daughter - If You Leave
She (they?) sound like the best elements of The xx mixed with Rosi Golan, and the results are stunningly gorgeous and powerful, despite being so minimal and understated.

Such a good album. I'm still really sad that they came to town right in the middle of my finals and I missed them.
