Puts last year to shame. It's like 2010 all over again.

I know I'm late to the party, but I want to get in on this while it's still 2013. My list, off the top of my head, in no particular order:
Akron/Family - Sub Verses David Bowie - The Next Day Run the Jewels - Run the Jewels Daft Punk - Random Access Memories Fuck Buttons - Slow Focus The Knife - Shaking the Habitual Mindless Self Indulgence - How I Learned to Stop Giving a Shit and Love Mindless Self Indulgence Kanye West - Yeezus Danny Brown - Old Sigur Ros - Kveikur Deaf Heaven - Sunbather Pearl Jam - Lightning Bolt Marijuana Deathsquads - Oh My Sexy Lord Darkside - Psychic Melt Banana -Fetch Gogol Bordello - Pura Vida Conspiracy Deltron 3030 - Event II Tomahawk - Oddfellows The Dillinger Escape Plan - One Of Us Is The Killer The Devil Makes Three - I'm A Stranger Here
This indeed has been one hell of a year for music. I would like to express my deepest appreciation to this board and (almost) everyone on it for introducing me to so many great artists. There are several titles on my list that I otherwise never would have taken the time to listen to. Words cannot express... And all that sappy shit. Thanks.

It's every bit as good as their earlier stuff. Which is to say not intricate technical compositions with deep meaning, but just good immature fun. Many would argue that it's not technically "good" but I argue that it's not supposed to be. It's certainly not going to win them any new fans. But for people like me, for whom they have been a guilty pleasure for years, it's great. I guess what I'm trying to say is if you like their other stuff, check it out. If you don't, you won't like this either.

I liked when they were covering Method Man, but the last few I heard didn't do anything for me.

Adding Blood Orange - Cupid Deluxe Jesus my list is long. My top ten is going to be hard this year! I am too full of love. Would I like this Weenie? We seem to have pretty similar musical tastes.

I liked when they were covering Method Man, but the last few I heard didn't do anything for me. I think it's better than their last couple albums, but not as good as the first two. I say give it a listen. It makes me smile. Also, check out one of their live shows. They are an absolute blast, if you can stand being surrounded by the Hot Topic kids for a few hours.

I think it’s definitely worth a listen for you. It’s kind of hard to compare it to anything else to give you an idea what it’s like because it’s got so much different stuff going on, but it’s undeniably sexy and I find myself going back to it over and over again. This should be a pretty good indicator of if you’ll like it or not. God I'm bad a describing music.

Thnks Weenie! I'm diggin' that track.
Pea pretty much summed up everything I was hearing. If I heard that without context I would definitely guess new Twin Shadow.
I'll give it a spin. Well not an actual spin, nothing will be spinning. What do digital tracks do?

I didn't really like that Russian Circles albums the first few times I listened to it, but it's ever so slowly growing on me and I'm starting to think I'm falling in love with it. Man I need to see those guys live...

Man I need to see those guys live... I was in the same boat. It did take a while for Memorial to sink in. Now I can’t stop listening to it. It is so good for so many different occasions.

At first I didn't think I would, but after a few listens, I'm afraid I have to add
Eminem - The Marshall Mathers LP 2
