Well that sure was a lot different than Deerhoof.

I too had barely listened to him before Sasquatch and only caught his set by chance, but goddam if it wasn't a ton of fun and his new album just makes me smile in a way very few have.

I think if I dug back in the "top 10 bands I'm most excited to see" thread, Danny Brown was on mine somewhere. His set at Sasquatch was great, the whole crowd was so in to it and it was a perfect daytime set. I was so disappointed when Schoolboy Q didn't show up and seeing another daytime main stage hip hop act was great.

Danny Brown is like the new ODB.
He also has been banned from entering Canada much like you have Burrito.

Adding Darkside - Psychic.
It took me half a dozen listens, which surprised me considering how into Space is Only Noise[ I am. Which is a lot. It's hella different, but it's pretty fucking great.

Man, I totally snuck a listen of that new Kings of Leon and have since listened to it about 10 times through. There are some seriously great pop-rock tunes on that thing.

I'm into Reflektor as well, but at this point I'm not really adding any albums that ain't gonna make my top 20.

IT TOOK YOU THIS LONG?!?! I realized how much I liked those chunes when we were shakin' bumberbooties. I mostly listen to streaming music at work and I couldn't find a good stream of it for fucking ever! Then I forgot. Then I listened to it and was like "oh yeah duh!". And then I did boogie. I know that show is going in my top 10 that's for sure!

I tend to feel kinda bad when shows that I saw with y'all don't end up on my top 10, but the truth is that I just like a lot of really fucking alienating music.

...like Tsembla. Seriously, y'all, I'm fairly certain I'm the only one who's given the time of day to this next-level-shit.

...and that new Kayo Dot album is the best experimental metal I've heard in the past 10 years.
