I've found lately that I'm totally bored of rap music. The only rap I listen to is the stuff I know by heart, and I don't have the patience to learn anything new by heart. I feel sort of bad and that I'm missing out on a lot of good shit, I just don't like it anymore. I feel the same way. |

Les Claypool's acoustic Duo de Twang just announced a very small west coast tour ending at McDowell Mountain Music Fest in Phoenix at the end of march. I've seen a little footage of their performance from the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass festival and it was outstanding.
Basically: I'll take Les anyway I can get him. But this particular act would be pretty damn interesting. To me.

Antibalas/Sharon Jones/Budos Band any or all will do cause i love that funky shit.
Just looked up Duo de Twang and thats some of the coolest stuff I've heard lately.
I know people said Dinosaur Jr on here but when I saw J Mascis solo at Sasquatch '11 I enjoyed it way more than any time I've seen him play with the band

That was weird. I'm listening to Robyn and she said "keep it tight" as I read "god damn tight", so I kind of imagined Robyn as Dr. Garbanzo for a second and vice versa.
