By this same logic: does that mean that the 50-foot shower is still going to be there? The 50 ft shower was there two years ago for promotion... The maine stage is an additional stage to add more variety to the festival... I don't see how the two are related...

They are related through the mysterious and misunderstood power of 'joking'. Anyway, the 50-foot shower and the Maine Stage are equally fucking stupid. So they have that in common.

That new set of theirs on the Gorge main stage is going to be one of the most monumental music moments of my life. I almost wish I could go back and un-see their Seattle show last summer, just so this could be my first time ever seeing them. I'm getting butterflies in my stomach just thinking about it.

I also really hope that snippet of new music is indicative of what we can expect on the new album. Sounds like some rip-roaring stuff to contrast the often quieter sounds that were on Valtari.

They've been my favorite active band for a very long time, and I've said often that they could pull off a way heavier sound and have it come out fantastically. I hope they do well with the transition, obviously they will! I haven't seen them since the Takk tour so I'm very excited to get reacquainted to their live show. Time to watch Heima a bunch of times to get ready.

Tim Hecker and Oneohtrix Point Never? Fuck yes. I might have to see them in SF, along with Coachella and Sasquatch.
