The Postal Service definitely have the potential to headline a night, but definitely subheadlining if not that. Along with their album they have 4 EP's that have different singles and remixes of other people and so on. I think their catalogue of originals + remixes + covers is 16 songs, plus 2 new on the reissue leaves them with plenty of material.
Personally, I'd rather they subheadline under The Knife or Sigur Ros or something, but it remains to be seen if either of them are actually on the lineup.

It's all good, we'll discuss everything a billion times today Today is really the one day a year that any semblance of order is lost on the board and everyone goes a little insane. It's also my favorite day.

I foresee a very MGMT-esque set. Huge crowd, people wait through a bunch of songs that they don't know, "Such Great Heights" comes on, the whole hill dances and smiles. End scene. This would be true at any given festival other than Sasquatch. The Postal Service were especially huge in the Northwest back in the early 2000s. I'm sure there'll be some people that only know a couple of their songs, but the vast majority at Sasquatch will stick around for their whole set and likely know every song. Alright, fair enough. Even though I was in the NW at that time, both I and most people I hung around weren't too big into the Death Cab, so it always seemed to me that the Postal Service was for the most part a brief love affair with one bleepy-bloopy track. I stand corrected.

It's also my favorite day. Also known as the day us "one day a year" lurkers come up from the floorboards and give the regulars a collective headache. It's also my favorite day. Anyone else getting drunk tonight?

Anyone else getting drunk tonight? None of us drink, macdilla. Straight edge board takes Sasquatch seriously.

Miss-typed "Sasquatch" for "Straightedge" again...

I have this legitimately confirmed! Sorry to the people who don't believe me! Just because somebody told you something doesn't make it a 'legitimate confirmation'. I'm sure Alt-J will be at Sasquatch, but nothing will be 'legitimately confirmed' for another six hours or so.

For many years of following this board (This will be my 8th straight Sasquatch and I follow this site on a daily basis). Each year there seems be a single post from a random account on the day of the lineup announcement that has bands that always seem to end up on the full lineup. This year that account was Wookie, the account was created today, is there any possibility that this is in fact Adam "Snacks"? I am starting to get giddy about the announcement. 4 more hours until the party starts!

I highly doubt it. Why spoil the fun more than we already do with our rumor/confirmation page?

Also that post was just a whole bunch of regurgitation from our updated first post. It even included bands we've already ruled out (see Grizzly Bear).

Someone posted an early lineup last year that was nearly 100% correct except for Lou Reed + Metallica. There are some people that might leak the legitimate lineup or something very close to it, but I guarantee there'll be a dozen people making accounts today with the sole purpose of putting up bullshit. Don't believe anything until it comes from the launch party or an actual band representative.

I'm just curious to see if that person has posted anything else since then or even logged in again.

That would be funny if from here on out, Yeah Yeah Yeahs added an extra 'Yeah' for each album.

I'd be cool with that lineup. Wouldn't be amazing and is missing some things I really want there, but I could live with it.
