Apparently it was more the inforoo mods' decision to quit emails than any real mandate from Bonnaroo. Roo asked if we'd quit annoying agents and said it was unethical but dudes pretending to be with child aren't exactly in the ethics business haha. I've sent out everything I want to this year, but if I do it again next season I'll just email on behalf of y'all and Coachella. Hopefully I'll be back with a few more names for 2014.
I suspect Bonnaroo sent out an email to agents/managers as my response rate just completely died from yesterday afternoon until now. Here's the only two I've received.
In regards to Squarepusher:
Hi Sasha,
I'm afraid we don't have formal confirmation for either of those festivals currently though we definitely are looking to come back to the States this year.
In regards to Wild Beasts:
Hi Sasha
Thank you for your email. At the moment there are no plans to play any of the US festivals this year. The band are focussing on writing and recording their next album this year. Anything can change of course, so don't hold me to this! But I can safely say that right now, we have no plans I'm afraid.

The agents don't give a shit. They either ignore the emails or answer politely, from what I can tell. Lying is wrong, but a little white lie to get some info isn't going to hurt anyone. Continue your quest next year, young gabfrab

I really don't feel like I'm bothering them as our interaction involves less than a minute of their time. Nadine, that's a great tactic. I'll have to keep that in mind for the future. |

I was flipping through channels today in Portland and comedian Ron Swanson (Parks and Rec) was being interviewed on 750 the Game and he said he was coming to Sasquatch.
