Fleet Foxes > The National by over 9,000. ಠ_ಠ

Speaking of Blind Melon, I am 100% convinced that Fleet Foxes will be remembered the same way fifteen years from now: as an embarrassing example of everything that was wrong with the music of the 00's. Precious, pandering bullshit.
And when Rainn Wilson was introducing the National in '08, he stood there and did a sarcastic reading of the lyrics to 'Squalor Victoria' which was one of the most idiotic, condescending things I have ever seen someone do onstage. He was seriously up there talking shit about the band for over ten minutes. It was unbearable.
But yeah, the National set that followed is by far one of the most memorable Sasquatch sets I've ever seen. I've seen them a couple times since then and it really hasn't done much for me because that set in '08 was on fucking fire.

Fleet Foxes > The National by over 9,000. 9000 what? Quatloos? And to echo the sentiments of others, that National set was really incredible. That stage was even smaller than it is now and they filled it up and blew us all away. They put on a good show normally, but since I have seen that and a few other performances I don't really feel the need to see them anymore. So it makes it easy to have to choose in a festival setting. And, incidentally, Rainn Wilson hung around all the rest of the time and was on other stages going on and on and on and on and on and on about whatever. This is the reason I couldn't watch the office anymore (well the main one).

In regards to Stars:
Not confirmed yet, but we will most likely be at Bonnaroo this year, definitely not Sasquatch.
In regards to Kishi Bashi:
As of now, we just don't know for sure if he'll be performing at either. As soon as we figure it out I will let you know.

I'd see the National at any opportunity. Never gets old.
E
Wilco is another band like that. Never gets old seeing those dudes rock out.

I would go see them if they were playing but in a conflict situation it is easy.

I have a very strong feeling (slash hope) that Built to Spill will be there this year. I've got no basis for this, except that they're releasing a new album soon and their February tour has lots of PNW venues but nothing in Seattle. Maybe Fig will ask them about Sasquatch at the Portland show, since he Martsched with them at Occupy Boise and shit.

Regarding Empire of the Sun: Hi Sahsa, Sasquatch is looking good... YES! Hate all you want, but Empire of the Sun is the perfect band for a late-night set at Sasquatch. And their new album is coming out this year. So stoked!

Isn't Empire of the Sun that one band where they all wear silly costumes and march in place and there are dancers but they don't really play any instruments?

I think he was just referring to making the purchase. that's what I figured...I'm antsy, we are in the weird nothing happening void...No Lineup, Tickets have been bought but not sent...It makes me feel like I have everything and nothing all at the same time...I want the lineup so I can start making playlists already...At least Livenation has a date for when tickets go back on sale...Which means the lineup will probably be announced the night before or day of... concerts.livenation.com/event/0F004968D5473CEA

so people have actually started to receive their tickets in the mail? Not possible. They are not mailing the wristbands until April.
