Tyler, The Creator is somebody that I would rather see live than listen to on my stereo. I bought his debut album on vinyl and liked it. Each listen made me dislike it more than the last though. After about 6 listens I couldn't stand most of it and sold it back to the record store. I still wouldn't mind seeing him perform live.

Jamie XX has produced some of the most incredible electronic music of the last few years, in my opinion. He's the only reason I continue to give The XX as much attention as I do after their mediocre last record. I'm incredibly jealous of everyone going to Coachella and if you are going there and don't see him then you are a fool.

I just saw The XX in Houston and I have to agree with Geno, it was one of the most boring shows I have ever seen. I imagine a Jamie XX DJ set would be better.
So they still haven't improved their live set then, huh? It looks like Devendra Banhart and Tame Impala might be playing around the same time as the XX, in which case I won't be seeing them again. Didn't care for them the last time they were at Sasquatch.
The most exciting thing that happened to me at that show was when I tried to help a girl who was pale/green and barely functional and having her friends think I was a cop. I looked them in the eyes and said "Dudes I have done almost every drug imaginable and this girl needs help, so just tell me what she is on so I can help you". They all looked at me and assured me that none of them had taken anything and then they all bailed on her except for one of them who stood there nervously. Then I tried dealing directly with the girl and she denied taking anything as she barely propped herself up against a post. She told me she just had a headache. Then her and her one decent friend got up and bailed out the back.
