I've had the Postal Service on heavy rotation lately trying to get myself more pumped for them. I'm just so stoked on seeing Death Grips on the Monday that everything else is gravy as far as I'm concerned.

We'll at least get a hint about what the Postal Service plan on bringing to their headlining set from hearing about their Coachella performances next month. Death Cab for me peaked around their headlining set at Bumbershoot 2008, and I thought they were terribly boring at Sasquatch 2011. I hope Gibbard doesn't disappoint me again with the Postal Service this year. I'll agree with HG that them being at Sasquatch barely means anything since they signed on to so many other festivals and arena dates. Monday could end up being one of the worst main stage lineups in memory if they close the festival with a boring set. Other than them, about all I want to see there is Cake. Gonna be spending a ton of time at other stages that day.

I propose switching the Postal Service out with PJ the Postman. He even has a dance.

the thing that was always appealing about Give Up is that it is generally nothing more or less than pleasant. This is actually exactly what I want from a Monday headliner. It gives me confidence in my party stature throughout the weekend knowing that I can comfortably end the festival lying down if I need to.

Tyler, The Creator just added dates with Earl and they end a week before Sasquatch... So there's the possibility of Tyler as a late add?

Tyler's tour has him playing in Eugene, Spokane, and Bend among others about 2 weeks before Sasquatch, and Earl is opening for him on all of those dates. Tyler's tour with Earl ends on the 18th down in California and he has no more dates. I see no reason he couldn't come up and do a few songs with Earl, but I don't see him being a full addition to the lineup.

If he does, and if someone throws a water bottle full of urine at him -- that was me.

Yeah, he's a real piece of shit, and his music is some of the lowest, most crass and least imaginative shock-value bullshit I've ever heard. Think Insane Clown Posse for seventeen-year-old hipsters.
(I loathe the word 'hipster'; I think it lacks a clear definition and that people use it as a pejorative to describe anything they don't like in much the same way people used to call things 'gay', but I think it fits here. I can't think of any reason people would admit to listening to that asinine bullshit except that it's trendy.)

Clutch.
Tyler, The Creator is somebody that I would rather see live than listen to on my stereo. I bought his debut album on vinyl and liked it. Each listen made me dislike it more than the last though. After about 6 listens I couldn't stand most of it and sold it back to the record store. I still wouldn't mind seeing him perform live.
