These are the type of people that will be at Bottle Rock in Napa, CA: That being said, I might go. Close by, and I'd love to see Iron and Wine, Cake, and the Flaming Lips I guess. Also beer and food.

That sounds suspiciously like the Steve Miller Band's crowd at Bumbershoot '06.

They're great, but have been at Sasquatch twice since I started going in 2008. I wouldn't count on them being there again for at least another year or two. And please, let that Fun. announcement be just a coincidence and not them announcing that they're headlining or something. I'd possibly protest that decision by not going at all. Barf.

So I spent the better part of my day listening to Sigur Ros so as to prepare myself. How in the nine hells does this fit in at a festival? 40,000 people with their party face on just doesn't seem befitting of a band that plays classical music badly(whatever that's what it sounds like). 1) Believe it or not, this shit can get pretty heavy live. Talkin’ silence to violence. Patience grasshopper, enjoy the slow build. 2) (DRUGS) WHALES. ZYLOPHONES. BOWED GUITAR. Turn that shit up, it’s meant to be listened to loudly. 3) Not sure why it won't allow me to embed the video but here's the link www.youtube.com/watch?v=yWYH6frn3og

I've been thinking this is very likely. They should open for Queens of the Stone Age and Dave can do back-to-back sets.

I think there is at least a decent chance The Thermals will be at Sasquatch this year. New album announced and coming out soon, and they are from the northwest.

Oh man oh man, I wish it were Monday already! I'm getting so damn excited for the lineup release (and board party of course!). I'm all like "Can't wait 'till the weekend is over!" which is fucked up 'cause of jobs.
