Haha well that kinda escalated quickly. I was just curious as to how it happened, or if there was a good story or something. I like hearing about rumors which concern this festival. It gets me excited, as I'm sure it does other board members. This is what your post would look like if it had been written by someone who graduated from high school.

I'm surprised that no one mentioned the fact that Soundgarden announced two shows in Seattle in February.

Sigur Ros just announced North American shows in the spring with no PNW dates. They're in Japan on 5/14 and 5/17. I wouldn't be surprised if they were our Monday night headliner. Or Friday, and we can have Ambient Friday (Stars of the Lid, Brian Eno, and William Basinski in the tent). Or Post-Rock Friday (Godspeed subheadliners). Or Icelandic Friday (Bjork headliner).
A year later than requested, as per usual Snacks fashion, but I'll take it.

I'm surprised that no one mentioned the fact that Soundgarden announced two shows in Seattle in February. It was mentioned a couple pages ago but it's hard to infer anything from that. It's far enough from May that it still seems feasible but it is still them touring through the Northwest in 2013 which makes you wonder if they'll be coming back so soon.

Generally speaking, a show in February has meant a Quatch no-show in the past.

I was about to tell the noob suggesting that Brian Fucking Eno would play the Banana Shack at Sasquatch to go stick a pickle up his butt, and then I saw it was drew.

Combo Friday (Post, Ambient, Icelandic) would be incredible. Maybe Mogwai can actually make it this year???

I got the impression he was listing eno as a mainstage act.
Also whoever (think it was Pea but not sure) suggested Junior Boys....I had not listened to them until just now and holy shit I fucking love these guys.

There's a possibility that that is what drew was trying to indicate, but it is no less ridiculous. IF Brian Eno still performed, and IF those performances were to see him within five hundred miles of any festival, it wouldn't be Sasquatch. Not in a million years.

Rampant speculation: Menomena just added 2013 tour dates with no PNW dates, they haven't been to Sasquatch since 2005, and they're from Portland.

I REALLY hope Sigur Ros headlines a night. After that near perfect show a few months ago at Edgefield, I can't imagine how amazing it would be at the Gorge.
