Best news of the day. I feel vaguely like the National's profile has been on the rise, slowly but surely, since High Violet. Any chance this album will propel them to the next level? Like, future Sasquatch-headliner level?

They're playing a show at Barclay's Center in NYC...that's pretty close to the size you'd expect from a Sasquatch Headliner.

Seattle band Akimbo already played their final show as a band. They are coming out with one more album though. They shared a couple of tracks from it here --> akimborocks.bandcamp.com/Two of the guys in Akimbo are in Sandrider. Album is coming out 3/1. |
