No way DCFC will be added as a headliner. Or added period for that matter. Although I can agree that there is at least the possibility of a headliner added for Monday. I don't know if it has been pointed out, but on sasquatchfestival.com, the TV reads "Featuring Kings of Leon, Jane's Addiction, Nine Inch Nails". It seems strange that they are 'featuring' two headliners and a sub. Maybe the third headliner is still to come?
I say this mostly out of hope that it is true, as I am disappointed with the headliners, Ben Harper in particular.

just a note on that.. click on the tv it will bring you to a flash video let it play it says KOL/NIN/JA then after that says Ben Harper, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, TVOTR, then on the next page Badu, Decemeberists, Fleet Foxes, then on the next animation Animal Collective, Bon Iver, Santigold, and so much more!
I don't know why this isn't on the main page like last years with the car and smoke coming from the back with the bands. This years is very well done and should be presented on the main page.
Case closed.

A few speculations about additional bands: First off, if they keep the stages similar to last year there were 9 bands on the main, 8 on Wookie, 7 on the Yeti and 4 comedy acts in the tent (except Monday, which had 5) per day. Using this logic and assuming the schedule maker is correct: Saturday's mainstage is full, Wookie needs another act as does Yeti (which traditionally is Northwest acts). Dance tent I believe may only have two acts per day here is my reasoning. I believe that Sasquatch! has a curfew and if you remember the sun really sets during the act before the headliner hence two acts. If that is correct the Comedy/Dance tent has probably Tobacco and Chromeo, there are three comedy acts so one or two more. Sunday needs another mainstage act, but I believe it will be local because every year Sasquatch! opens the mainstage with a local band that they really dig (e.g. last year Fleet Foxes, Dyme Def and "Awesome"), the Wookie is full and Yeti needs two more. Comedy/Dance tent has Deadmau5 and Natalie Portman's Shaved head I believe and three comedy acts, so probably one or two more comedy acts. Monday there needs to be an add to the mainstage, but again I think it will be local, as there does not look to be a local band. It looks like Wookie needs one and Yeti is full. Comedy/Dance has one dance type act James Pants, so probably one more act there and then one or two more comedians as they also have three comedic acts. I may be way off base, but that is just my guess. Unfortunately if I am right I am not sure how the Shins or Death Cab would fit in, unless they move the bands around, which they have done before. I believe most notably with the Arctic Monkeys in 2006. The Shins I think are too big for Wookie, but who knows. Also, as an added speculation if Death Cab was there, maybe Zoey Deschanel would follow and play with M. Ward? A little She and Him action? Total speculation, but fun nonetheless. So, I either miscounted or a band was moved from the mainstage on Saturday, which opens up a spot for a ninth band. Since Vince Mira is small and local the band that might be added would be bigger local or not local at all. Something to possibly look forward to.

If they add anybody half-decent-to-great on Sunday or Monday it's going to make this the best line-up there is.
I was glancing at the Bonnaroo line-up, incidentally, and the Sasquatch line-up, headliners excluded, destroys them band-to-band. I'm 90% sure Adam spent all his money getting all the great under-the-radar acts and compromised for some truly radio friendly headliners. Which, who gives a fuck? I'd rather have 15 great non-headliners than one big name headliner who doesn't blow my mind. Right?
The more I think about it, the more I get excited.
One more great band on Sunday and Monday and I'm completely sold. If not, I'm still stoked.

The shins were never ever on the 2008 lineup. As far as i recall they were not even really speculated.

Mogwai would be an excellent addition. Dang Explosions in the Sky, M83 + Mogwai??? Sounds pretty instrumental to me... Even though M83 has some vocals haha.

i thought for some reason that mogwai was already on lineup. :/ hopefully they'll get added
anyone remember when gang of four was in the 'basically confirmed' category along with like the cure and three other bands who all played last year. ya that sucked.

MGMT would be great, but seems less likely.
I think, as been posted on this board before, that Mogwai and Deerhoof/Cornelius would be the most logical adds, since they both are playing in California right before the fest. Cornelius would fit right into the extra dance stage spot on Saturday and Deerhoof and Mogwai seem like they would fit on the Wookie stage pretty nicely.
