If you don't like the Beatles, then all I can say is that you need to listen to the fucking Beatles more. Allow me to slip into Classic HG Mode for five fucking seconds and just say it: if you don't like the Beatles, you're wrong. If you listen to any band that writes songs with verses, choruses and a bridge then you owe six months to the Beatles so just do it.

Board suicide: I could take or leave Bowie and Zappa. However, only because I haven't spent much time with either. Go listen to Heroes right. And don't go listen to Heroes. Listen to The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust or Aladdin Sane. And then Space Oddity and The Man Who Sold the World. Then do Low, Heroes and Lodger, in order like you should. Then listen to the rest of his catalogue 'cause it's all fucking fantastic! (even if I like Heroes the least) |
