Last year I didn't follow the lineup day-to-day, and so if someone here could please educate me on the normal additions added later on I would appreciate it.

i would also appreciate this very much. I don't remember from last year and last year was the first year that I followed and went to Sasquatch. Thanks!

Alright. So about two weeks after the linup was announced a couple bands were added & The Shins & POTUSA were removed. A month later 4 smaller bands were added. Two weeks after someone moderatly sized cancelled. Two weeks before POTUSA was reannounced along with three others.
Same thing will prolly happen this year.

What was the most significant/drastic addition that happened last year?
Obviously The Shins being removed was the biggest disappointment.

Probably the addition of M.I.A or POTUSA being added back on there.

Don't expect too many additions to the line up. You may get 1 or 2 main stage acts, but most of the acts to be added would be yeti and dance tent.
The " bigger" acts will be announced if they need a boost in ticket sales.

Just 1 or 2 is fine.
I'm basically just hoping for an extra attraction on Sunday and Monday.

You mean MIA actually showed? Holy crap. They should add an extra letter to her acronym at the beginning, U for Usually.

Mars Volta was the biggest name to be added later on and that came fairly late if i remember correctly, im hoping to see MGMT get added!

Mars Volta was officially added two days later if I recall? I think the website even put them on the lineup, then took them off a couple hours later, because the add was no surprise.

hopefully any additions won't be as bad as Mars Volta were last year. i like their music but they're absolutely god awful live. i don't think i've ever seen so many people walking away at once, it was just a bunch of loud, annoying noise.

MGMT is highly likely to be added I would personally say. But within 4-5 days. If they aren't on there then I will have doubt.
BoH could be one of the 1-2 main stage acts that are added too... Hopefully.

Hopefully. Is there any logic to this or are these just bands you'd like to see there? I'd love to see MGMT. I've already seen Band of Horses and they're pretty decent live but I would be fine heading to another stage if they played the main stage. I'm still hoping Tenacious D gets added (not much logic there, except their song was featured on the website for the last few months). We'll see I suppose.

I tried to book mgmt to play at my school but they are locked in the studio recording until at least June. Don't expect to see them unless sasquatch convinces them to come with a huge offer.

A few speculations about additional bands:
First off, if they keep the stages similar to last year there were 9 bands on the main, 8 on Wookie, 7 on the Yeti and 4 comedy acts in the tent (except Monday, which had 5) per day.
Using this logic and assuming the schedule maker is correct:
Saturday's mainstage is full, Wookie needs another act as does Yeti (which traditionally is Northwest acts). Dance tent I believe may only have two acts per day here is my reasoning. I believe that Sasquatch! has a curfew and if you remember the sun really sets during the act before the headliner hence two acts. If that is correct the Comedy/Dance tent has probably Tobacco and Chromeo, there are three comedy acts so one or two more.
Sunday needs another mainstage act, but I believe it will be local because every year Sasquatch! opens the mainstage with a local band that they really dig (e.g. last year Fleet Foxes, Dyme Def and "Awesome"), the Wookie is full and Yeti needs two more. Comedy/Dance tent has Deadmau5 and Natalie Portman's Shaved head I believe and three comedy acts, so probably one or two more comedy acts.
Monday there needs to be an add to the mainstage, but again I think it will be local, as there does not look to be a local band. It looks like Wookie needs one and Yeti is full. Comedy/Dance has one dance type act James Pants, so probably one more act there and then one or two more comedians as they also have three comedic acts.
I may be way off base, but that is just my guess. Unfortunately if I am right I am not sure how the Shins or Death Cab would fit in, unless they move the bands around, which they have done before. I believe most notably with the Arctic Monkeys in 2006. The Shins I think are too big for Wookie, but who knows. Also, as an added speculation if Death Cab was there, maybe Zoey Deschanel would follow and play with M. Ward? A little She and Him action? Total speculation, but fun nonetheless.

I am in agreement with Dustin, I don't think much will be added ,
But hypothetcally , I think the schedule is not finalized and one of the bands we may think is on the main stage, might be closing out the wookie. So DCFC and shins might might fit in this way.
Friday - Shins on Friday Before KOL
Saturday- I think the line up is staying the same because I anitcipate NIN and Jane Addiction to both have full sets plus tvotr will probably be longer.
Sunday- DCFC headlining.
But I do speculate on this.........Is Ben harper only going to be play relentless 7 stuff or is he also playing innocent crimnals stuff? we answer that question and we'll know if they are adding a headliner. Sometimes artists who have a new project will only play there new stuff in concert. ( Conor Oberst an the mystic valley band for instance)
And I can't see him Headlining with limited material

what? why would they be at sasquatch 2 years in a row, especially after last year where they appeared in the seattle/portland/vancouver area at least 8 times? people have seen enough of them for a couple years.

I agree scough, I was basing it on the supposed "TV" rumor, that is why I said Hypothetically.
Trust me I have seen enough of DCFC for a while.
