Machinedrum did next to nothing for me on first listen. I don't know, I think I expected it to be a little more aggressive.

I'm still halfway through my first listen, but I absolutely love it. So many hints of classic jungle music break through and he's made a great combination of jungle breaks with modern bass music. It might be my favorite work of his to date.

Listened to this one today while working. FUCK YES! I can’t wait for their show. Hope they don’t sell out before I can pick up tix.

This album was great to the max. I really want to see the show but I am really curious to how you do this without a drummer.

New St. Lucia album streaming over at MTV.com. Really enjoying it so far. Tons of 80's throwback sounds ala Twin Shadow and M83. Plus, horns and saxophones! www.mtv.com/artists/st-lucia/

New Red Fang streaming with video commentary via Relapse Records' YouTube channel. I have no link to post, as it is a YouTube playlist and my internet skills are not high enough level to share such.

I love Active Child but I can't help but wonder if "Rapor" is really the best title he could come up with for a new release.

New Midlake album Antiphon streaming over at NPR: www.npr.org/2013/10/27/240566876/first-listen-midlake-antiphonActs of Man was incredibly fucking boring, but Bamnan & Slivercork and The Trials of Van Occupanther are two of my favorite records of the 00's. Apparently the lead singer left the band halfway through the recording of this new one... The result sounds like an okay record by a completely different band. ...still better than Acts of Man, though. Jesus Christ.

Christisland is no longer streaming, unfortunately, but has been replaced by the also excellent Teengirl Fantasy's new EP Nun. pitchfork.com/advance/296-nun/As far as I know, none of you like this band and one of you doesn't like them. Enjoy!
