You know, I used to listen to Pinback about 5 years ago when I just starting to get into music. The thing is though, I only listened to Blue Screen Life on repeat. I've never heard anything else by them. Are they worth expanding on?

My personal favorites are the self-titled debut and Autumn of the Seraphs, although I know there are a couple of other Rob Crow die-hards around here who will probably tell you something different.

Just finished listening to those two tracks HG posted and the new album and Pinback makes me feel good. I now am on the Pinback @ Sasquatch campaign.

Haha, I think we have gone through this before, but I'm going to have to go ahead and disagree with Gramma here and say that Blue Screen Life and Summer in Abaddon (the only other two albums aside from the new one) are the best. I highly recommend Summer in Abaddon if you like Blue Screen Life.

It's funny how strongly Burrito and I disagree on so many of the things on which we can agree.

Listening to the new Pinback again, there is no doubt that This Is a Pinback CD is their best. HANDS FUCKING DOWN!!!
This is coming from a guy who owns everything they've sold (including tour only EPs). Fuck I even have three t-shirts.

Here's the new Peter Katis (Philistines Jr.) produced Trey Anastasio album, Traveler. Courtesy of Rolling Stone. This is a great fucking record, whether you are a Phish fan or not. This couldn't sound less like Phish. It also couldn't sound more like the Philistines Jr. I'm only halfway through it and already I feel like this could be my favorite album of the year. www1.rollingstone.com/hearitnow/player/trey.html
