No problem. I don't know the porpoise of not being able to delete the post besides if someone responds without quoting you, it looks crazy.
But I also don't know the p u r p o s e of caring about that concern on a messageboard.

GIBBONS - As far as I know, and I could be wrong, when an announcement is created - it does double up in the original discussion board... hence why there are two ATTENTION: READ THIS!!!! discussions listed in the General area. Again, I could be wrong.
LUMPY - I had considered referencing the search function, but as Empty illustrated - it is pretty terrible.

Just curious- is there a way to delete the dead accounts? There are a ton of them. Maybe then people won't have usernames like johnpotato53910

There's not, but sometimes I will drop the ban hammer on an account that hasn't ever been used, so I can keep my trigger finger limber.
Note to mods: I don't actually do this.

Lots of people born May 39, 1910 were named John Potato. Little known fact.

Definitely not this. I think there's to much sig space as there is. We don't need each page to be filled more with sig's than content, we're fucking runnin' on empty in the content department to start with.

Yeah I generally agree, and there was enough space to get the essential text.
